Seth Rich's Brother Pleads With Sean Hannity to Stop Spreading 'Conspiracy Theory'

The brother of slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich wrote a letter on Tuesday to the executive producer of Sean Hannity's Fox News show pleading with him to find "decency and kindness" in his heart and stop spreading an unproven conspiracy theory about the unsolved murder.

"As the family, we would hope to be the first people to learn about any such evidence and reasons for Seth's death," he added. "It is a travesty that you would prompt false conspiracy theories and other people's agendas rather than work with the family to learn the truth."

Rich was shot to death last July in the streets of Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate.

But for months, right-wing media outlets have floated unproven theories that Rich was the person who provided Wikileaks with thousands of internal DNC emails, and suggested his death was retribution for the supposed leak.

The theory resurfaced with a vengeance last week, in part due to a Fox News story the outlet has yet to retract. Hannity and other Fox News personalities seized on the story and have pushed the theory.

Brad Bauman, the Rich family spokesman, told CNN on Monday that Hannity had not reached out to the family. Hannity did, however, reach out over the weekend to invite Kim Dotcom, the Megaupload founder, on to his program.

Dotcom, who is currently in New Zealand fighting extradition to the U.S., where he is wanted on charges of copyright infringement and money laundering, has claimed to have evidence Rich leaked documents to Wikileaks. Dotcom has not replied to CNN's requests for comment, but said in a statement posted to his website Tuesday that he would be willing to work with authorities.

I would say there are no Democrats anymore, but to be honest, there haven’t been any since the early 1960s.

These folks went hard Left back then, and they have only gotten worse over time.

I don’t mean this to be critical of you, but we could have said there was no Democrat party after 1972. Saying it now some 45 years later, seems so inadequate.

The religion angle is good, because the registered Democrats have in their own way come up with something as bad as radical Islam.

Both are very damaging to the United States, and they both seem to hate what the United States was at it’s founding.

Death to (the original) American seems to be the two part harmony for this choir.

And they should be. However, it is the DNC, not us, that is keeping the information from them.

I hope are open-minded enough to consider that their beloved Democrat party has been lying to them all along.

If Kim.com was surveilled - and likely was (go read his white paper), then if the surveillance was ordered under FISA the data received may have unveiled Panda as Seth Rich ... if and that's a big 'IF' under FISA, a paper trail must exist.

Kimdotcom is no fool and has a hefty stake in this. I lean towards believing Kimdotcom holds this ace up his sleeve in this case.

We should examine daily footage of HRC/Mook/Podesta from July 8 - Sept 1. We should notice a marked uptick in ashen expressions.

Remember ‘Family, friends at Bill Clinton’s side in death scare’ a month ago? That’s one place they could talk without fear of bugs, the hospital room, and discuss how to message openly about Seth Rich using the coded language of Bill Clinton’s health scare. Bill didn’t seem all that dire, and there’s been no health reports on him since.

Amen. Certainly, you are correct, and SPOT ON about the 60’s turning point.

I believe communism had its effects in the 60’s and it was then that began the Left turn and unveiling of radicals, away from the interests of the farmers in the dell and blue collar labor interests.

However, I believe something intensely unique from the old Red scare and its relative simplicity has emerged. Somehow, communism has morphed outside of Russia, into a more suitable endeavor hiding behind a new name. Globalism. The loss of sovereignty is key to getting that beast to float.

What is unique is that Globalism is a Pandora’s Box, no longer limited to communism alone, but merges with the worst of all evils, under the worst of every regime in history— who are jealous of God.

The “Democrats” defend the indefensible. This is too weird to be just blown off as American party politics, or even confined to US political sciences, any longer.

I *think* it’s bigger than that, now.

In fact, DO, I’m not convinced that the Left even realizes what they have taken hold of, or should I say what has taken hold of them.

I check out Don Lemon and Morning Joke. That kind of delusion and hatred from normal pundits for traditional thought and patriotism is simply not politically possible, nor can it be attributed to typical American back and forth of political parties.

If Fox dumps Hannity, all I need to do is look up my notes on FoxNews. They’ve been doing some really fishy stuff and making fishier deals. They stink more all the time. Hannity is one of the few good things left in that carcass of a station.
