I’ve always wondered why they think it is OK to have white trash, but no one ever speaks of “black trash”.
Maybe because blacks riot and protest, and whites don’t. Ever notice on commercials, the dumb doofus using the wrong product, or the burglar breaking in on the home security commercials, is always a white male? White males don’t protest, riot, or boycott, and they have no groups advocating for them.

There is a word for that, but PC states that whites are not allowed to say it.
One of the "homeless" they interviewed was a young white woman who was raised in an affluent, college educated household in Maryland. For some reason she'd blown that all off and headed out to California - who knows why? Maybe she read Jack Kerouac's "On The Road" and thought she'd give it a try.
At the time she was interviewed, she was pregnant, living under a freeway bridge with her black boyfriend/pimp, panhandling and turning tricks to support her heroin addiction. But she'd never forgotten the casual classism of the Country Club society she came from. So, in spite of her own dismal situation, she looked down condescendingly upon various groups of other people.
Observant Christians, conservatives, corporate types like bankers - they were the scum of the earth to this young woman.
She also held southern white people in particular disdain. Maybe it was the particular way her lip curled when she called them "White trash."
When she tried to reconcile her present situation, she said that "things could be better, but at least she's not as bad as southern "white trash".
"Nope," she sneered, "don' wanna be a Trashie".
Because there already a word for that .......
