IVANKA TRUMP made the journey from Saudi Arabia to Israel with father US President Donald Trump today and wore an outfit very different to any she’s been pictured in recently.

Ivanka Trump: Was the First Daughter wearing traditional Jewish dress? The 35-year-old was pictured next to husband Jared Kushner as the took part in a welcome ceremony upon her father Donald’s arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv.

Ivanka co-ordinated her outfit with Jared’s, wearing black and navy, but her style wasn’t as fashion-forward as it’s appeared in the past.

She wore a black lace top with long sleeves and a navy sash across the front, along with a long pleated navy skirt.

She accessorised with black sunglasses and a navy-coloured head piece which lay flat to her head.

My husband had a friend, Hoyt who had many sayings. One saying he had about ugly women’s hats was “ I wish I had two of those, one to mess in and one to cover it with”. I cleaned it up a bit. I am sure you get his message. I find Ivanka’s headware appealing but those two, am not sure who they are, believe they are British royals, are incredibly ridiculous. I think the King is maybe 5'6" and Trump is well over six feet. Did they expect the King to mount a stepladder or toss the medal over Trump's neck?

It is just common courtesy for Trump to bend over when receiving a medal from another head of state - by the way, the most prestigious civilian medal that Saudi Arabia has to offer.

If Trump did not bend to receive the medal, then the liberal MSM narrative would be that Trump created an uncomfortable and awkward situation for his hosts.

You just can't win with the MSM. They will criticize Trump no matter what because they wanted Hillary to win. So it's best to just tune them out. They lost. We won. And that's all there is to it.

I looked around a little. It seems fascinators are not the typical thing worn by Orthodox Jewish women..even when they dress up. But Rabbis give a lot of latitude on head coverings..some don't even think it is required. So it seems this is kind of like a compromise to show she covers her head but not going the scarf route
