Westinghouse Electric Co, a unit of Japan's Toshiba Corp (6502.T), said on Sunday it issued a lockout notice to 172 union members at its nuclear components manufacturing plant in Newington, New Hampshire, declaring that the sides had reached a stalemate in contract negotiations.

ONE day a countryman going to the nest of his Goose found there an egg all yellow and glittering. When he took it up it was as heavy as lead and he was going to throw it away, because he thought a trick had been played upon him. But he took it home on second thoughts, and soon found to his delight that it was an egg of pure gold. Every morning the same thing occurred, and he soon became rich by selling his eggs. As he grew rich he grew greedy; and thinking to get at once all the gold the Goose could give, he killed it and opened it only to find, nothing.

Unions have a history of damaging property when they don’t get what they want. The Westinghouse owners need to proceed with caution and this appears to be a first step.
So..., much..., WINNING!
Someone needs to explain to the union members the meaning of “bankruptcy”.
Republicans control both Houses in NH and the Gov is Republican. Yet they wussed out on passing Right to Work legislation.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!
I am a NH resident and I could not believe that the Repub house did not pass the Right to Work legislation. The Senate pass it by only one vote, but it should have been a slam dunk. It was mind boggling.
This is why the Repubs in NH are basically “In Name Only”
Good move.
Have they repealed “same day registration” yet? That law has resulted in voter fraud which cost at least two Republicans a Senate seat as well as cheating DJT out of 4 EVs.
Wouldn't the title have been more appropriate if it had stated that the union chose to walk out and strike? Nah.......
We also have that problem nationally. If there is one thing Odumbo should be credited with, in a backhanded way, he exposed the depth of not only the traitorous Rat party, but also the traitorous GOPe.
Hahaha.
Yup, plenty of RINOs in NH, 30 Republicans voted against Right To Work. Of course, when the Republican Speaker, Shawn Jasper, is endorsed by the SEIU, what would you expect:

FWIW, “card check” never saw the light of day - and that was a dangerous idea. In fact, nothing of Obama’s original agenda survived his first month; he was opposed to “gay marriage” and determined to help blacks - how did that work out?
Black Lies Matter was born in the waning days of Obama’s presidency when blacks realized they’d been had. After 8 years of the Kenyan Pirate’s presidency, they were much worse off than when he was elected - and another eight years’ worth of foreigners had entered the country and left them in the dust.
Coincidence that Justice scalia would have been hearing a union case.. nope, don’t think so. They have blocked ambulances of critically ill patients. I have heard the old telecom union was a good one, but I have my reservations.
No. They are still “looking into it”.
The Governor said he will sign whatever comes across his desk, but it is the House that is the real problem in this state.
Even though the Repubs have a large majority in the House, there are a lot of RINOs and they tend to side with the Dems.
Hopefully there will be a 30 day registration period coming with proof of residents. That is the latest.
