President Trump's previously resilient base is showing signs of cracking.
A new Reuters/IPSOS tracking poll, released Friday afternoon, showed the president with a job approval rating of 75 percent among Republicans.
Political professionals generally view it as worrying for any commander-in-chief if his approval ratings with his own party dip below 85 percent - and downright alarming if they go below 80 percent.
"Seventy-five [percent] is certainly a new number and I would want to see something that would either back that up or refute it," said GOP pollster David Winston, whose resumé includes work for former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.). "Certainly, if it were true, that is not where you would want to be."

Cracking? I voted for Trump as second choice but I support what he is doing and I am sick of news coverage. Sick. Sick of conservative never Trumpers dumping on with so little reason other than invisible memos and crimes with no evidence and leaks which are inconsequential but built into news. Sick. They need to clean house ASAP. I am seriously concerned that the rule of law will never matter again and that Mueller will create a case from thin air. That is what I am sick of and losing even more confidence in our governance, not the president. I do not believe he is perfect by far. Things are so unfair right now.
If, and it’s a big if, the base is cracking, it’s only in congress, where the base was never very reliable to begin.

Those who fabricated this poll WISH that the base was splitting with Trump.
Merely a continuance of all the pontification (annoyingly pompous and dogmatic) that went on in the two years leading up to the election of 2016.
They have to be using their eating orifices to make these statements and conclusions, their rectal orifices have more native good sense.

IF it includes the Never Trumpers, I'm surprised that it's so high! I don't approve of his political skills, but I didn't vote for him because he's a politician. The professional politicians failed. They still are failing.
