An Alabama teacher has been suspended after a geometry lesson on the best angles to assassinate President Obama
If this is how the school wants to be known to the wider world, so be it.
Maybe people won’t hire anyone who went to Brain Dead High School.
It might be the parents too. MN is a pretty liberal state. I don’t know about the area where the high school is. I would not rule it out.
Brainerd is mostly a resort town in northern Minnesota lake country. The county that it’s in went more than 2 to 1 for Trump in 2016. Kids in middle American small towns imagine themselves sophisticates by aping the views of New York elites.

As a former yearbook editor, I would not have allowed something like this in the book. Yes, I believe in free speech but discretion should have been used when making decisions as to what is fit for print.

Both are one party power politics , intolerant of all other opinions and beliefs while all the time preaching one has a right to free speech and then sometimes violently denying that person the right to voice an opposing opinion.
The students should all be exiled for the rest of their hate-filled lives (not that I’m overreacting...).

that’s odd- meanwhile at another school- they recalled all the yearb ooks because it was discovered someone had included a pro trump message in their likes and dislikes section I guess-
Funny how different schools can approve of perhaps criminal threats against trump but fall all to pieces when someone mentions they support trump
The feds should have arrested everyone who threatened the POTUS’ life, including the school administration and yearbook teacher who let this be published. The publisher should also face charges.
At first reading, I took that as a "threat" as well.
I think it just really means we don't know whether DJT will be re-elected or not.
But the point really is just WHAT is this doing in a HS yearbook in the first place?

What an asinine question.
More suited to the school newspaper.
The paper would be tossed.
This yearbook quote SHOULD be brought up in this student's face, forever.
Imagine something like this about Obama?
"I'd like to behead him"
The school would be burned to the ground, and the principal and yearbook staff fired.
