How Did Russiagate Start?

What exactly is the FBI investigating? Why was it kept secret from other intelligence chiefs, if that's what happened? That matters, if we're trying to gauge what happened last week.

Is it a FARA (Foreign Agent Registration Act) case involving former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn or a lower-level knucklehead like Carter Page?

Since FARA is violated more or less daily in Washington and largely ignored by authorities unless it involves someone without political connections (an awful lot of important people in Washington who appear to be making fortunes lobbying for foreign countries are merely engaged in "litigation support," if you ask them), it would be somewhat anticlimactic to find out that this was the alleged crime underlying our current white-hot constitutional crisis.

Humiliated Hillary had to find a reason why she lost 2016.....so they came up with the Russians. At the time Hillary said, "They don't like me."

Hillary musta horse-whipped her 2016 campaign chair, John Podesta, into action. Podesta came charging out of the gate like Greased Lightning, galloping at breakneck speed, sweating it out, desperate to make Hillary look like a "victim."

Here's the very first evidence of the Democrat/Russian connection......about a week after Hillary lost.

=================================================

John Podesta Op-Ed: Washington Post post-election op-ed / FR POSTED by by ColdOne

PODESTA: The more we learn about the Russian plot to sabotage Hillary Clinton’s campaign and elect Donald Trump, and the failure of the FBI to adequately respond, the more shocking it gets. The former acting director of the CIA has called the Russian cyberattack “the political equivalent of 9/11.” Just as after the real 9/11, we need a robust, independent investigation into what went wrong inside the government and how to better protect our country in the future.

As the former chair of the Clinton campaign and a direct target of Russian hacking, I understand just how serious this is. So I was surprised to read in the New York Times that when the FBI discovered the Russian attack in September 2015, it failed to (Excerpt) Read more of Podesta at washingtonpost.com ...

Democrats then latched onto the Russian meme and ran with it...to the floundering loser Dems, it's their lifesaver.

Russian lie started to provide cover for the illegal spying on Trump during the election.

Bingo! My theory as well.

“Russia” was the pretext the US government used to surveil the Trumps. When they lost the election, they ran with it as cover for that too.

Accusing the Russians of hacking the election distracts from the truth that the US government tried to hack the election, and still lost. What if you stole an election and still lost? You’d be mad too.

The key to an effective Russiagate investigation is this: you only look at Trump people. If you dig long enough, you’ll eventually get lucky and find something, maybe you can get a perjury rap if two stories don’t line up exactly, similar to what they did with Scooter Libby.

You definitely don’t look at anyone outside the Trump camp who we already know is in bed with the Russians. Or the Chinese, or the Saudis, or Muslim Brotherhood.

“Russiagate started as a ruse to get people’s minds off Pedogate.”

I still haven’t seen anything more than mumbo-jumbo “proof” for that.

Taibbi has an interesting background. He’s an unapologetic leftist, but he also lived in Russia for a while and has a pretty keen sense of the importance and the workings of U.S.-Russia diplomacy.

Why was not an investigation and independent investigation started on;
-Vince Foster’s death?
-The W-88 thermonuclear warhead plans leaked to the Chinese,,, and money from the Chinese to Bill Clinton’s campaign?
-900 FBI files Hillary held?
-The various and suspicious death’s surrounding the Bill Clinton political career?
-Benghazi?
-IRS scandal, with snarky IRS officials condescendingly treating the congressional investigators, under oath?
-DNC staffer Seth’s suspicious murder, after it is now revealed he was in contact with Wikileaks?
-Fast and Furious?
-The Clinton Foundation?
-The Hillary uranium deal giving Russia,,,yes RUSSIA,,,20 percent of the US uranium production? When Bill Clinton raised his rates and gave speeches in Russia...(quid pro quo) ?
-Ron Brown’s airplane “accident”?
-...and on and on...

But with no evidence or proof of any wrong doing, we need to have an independent counsel investigate Trump, JUST IN CASE there is any wrong dong... And why don’t Republicans at least follow through on ANYTHING to chase down these people? Clearly a RICO act level investigation is in order with these people, and it would probably take down Hillary for good, as well as Obama, reversing his disaster of a presidency with much less effort.

This is insanity.

Your explanation is 100% correct. They had to fabricate the scandal after Trump won the election because they knew it was only a matter of time before the illegal surveillance came to light.

True, although they planned it in early 2016 (or even earlier) when the "Russian" hackers attacked the DNC. I think the main reason it gets any traction, as ridiculous as the whole thing is, is media stupidity, bias, and desperation.

YES! I totally agree, he also said something to the effect about working with the Russians again ISIS and Democraps acted all shocked and played up this “Does Trump have a Russia connection?” and I think Hillary was behind pushing that, and it’s snowballed ever since. If Trump said get Hillarys emails from the Chinese and we should work with the Chinese against ISIS, right now we’d be hearing about a Trump/China connection everyday with backstabbing slimebags like McCain comparing it to Watergate

I don't think you'll find a "start" date. What we have was Guccifer who was hacking anybody and everyone who was important. He reveled the Clinton private server. People suffering from his actions wanted to tie him to the Russians because "The Russians Did It" was better to use because after all who could on their own bring down Hillaroid. It had to look like the big bad Russians.

Enter Seth Rich who was "one of their own" and again we couldn't have a disgruntled individual bringing down Hilaroid.

Then you have the piling on effect. Anyone and everyone who hates Trump like John McCainiac who is responsible, along with Andrew McCabe, in manufacturing the Russian dossier.

The rest as they say is history.

The Podesta emails showed the Democrats plotting to make an issue of Trump campaign’s so-called ties to Russia well before the release of the DNC emails.

It is also being pushed by Evan McMullin. Read his Op-Ed https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/17/opinion/a-party-to-the-russian-connection.html?_r=1

Did you see this? http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/18/evan-mcmullin-kevin-mccarthy-washington-posts-trump-putin-entous-washington-post/

Evan McMullin is a traitor to our country. He was most likely the one recording conversations of top Republicans in June 2016 and then he ran against Trump starting in Aug 2016. Just who is paying Evan McMullin?

Russiagate started because Hillary lost and the Clinton inner circle knew that Podesta and friends would be called to testify about things like Clinton’s server, Uranium sales and how the Clinton foundation operated a pay to play scheme intended to sell access to the White House.

Notice how the Clinton Foundation is no longer in business? They shut it down and moved all the assets to Hillary’s PAC. This needs to be investigated.

Yes and the Russia connection has been pushed by some rino’s including Paul Ryan.

Have you seen this? http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/page/national/read-the-transcript-of-the-conversation-among-gop-leaders-obtained-by-the-post/2209/

The transcript of the meeting includes one very curious statement from Paul Ryan, discussing his meeting with the Ukrainian Prime Minister. He is saying what Russia is doing to Ukraine is what they are doing to us, “financing our populists, financing people in our governments to undo our governments, you know messing with our oil and gas energy, you know all the things Russia does to basically blow up our country.”

So if Paul Ryan knows Russia is doing all of these things, why doesn’t he do something about it? Cathy McMorris Rogers who was discussing Russian propaganda with Paul Ryan in the recorded conversation says, We aren’t doing anything about it, we aren’t, we are not.

Rogers supported Trump, Paul Ryan did not.

Clinton associate Alexandra Chalupa was pushing Russia since at least January 2016.

Then came the DNC’s claims regarding their e-mail systems, investigated not by the FBI but only by Clinton associate Dmitri Alperovitch. Alperovitch is also a disgrunted Russian ex-pat. Major parts of his claims were later retracted.

Then came the DNI-DHS report issued by directors Clapper and Jeh Johnson. The report was based on Alperovitch’s claims. Future versions of the report reiterated the same material only more emphatically.

Clinton lost.

Then came the “Russia dossier”. A dossier Chalupa’s Russia hating Ukrainian activist daughter started hyping in October.

Then came a barrage of un-sourced fake news from WaPo and NYT, all alleging “Trump collusion with Russia”. The most recent report claimed Trump fired FBI Director Comey because he was getting too close with his “Russia investigation”. The source for the NYT article was revealed to be - drum roll please - the spouse of a top Clinton advisor.

It is all a lie. Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies. A mountain of lies, smears, and innuendo, all of which leads straight to Clinton.

Sounds like a left-winger is finally starting to recognize the inconsistency and utter carelessness what their ‘friends’ and ‘allies’ have been up to since they lost the election.

The left wing media is desperate for a conservancy to justify their unexpected defeat, and all they have amounts to little more than their own echo chamber and they are calling that ‘evidence’.

The FBI is not investigating Trump for the simple reason they have nothing to investigate. The were investigating a political proposition that Russian’s involved themselves in our public debate.
I don’t think anyone would doubt that is true of not only the Russians but most every other major country on earth. Particularity the Chinese, but even more openly our so called ‘allies’.

Unlike Clinton however Trump had almost no supporters overseas, his policies of tariffs, toughness, and charging more for American protection were generaly unfavorable for most non-Americans.

There is probably a mountain of evidence of forign parties helping the Clinton campaign very openly in the form of their contribution to the Clinton Foundation.
Pay to play was a poorly hidden Clinton criminal scam for decades.

Trump on the other hand was reviled by most outsiders. Only the Russians hated Clinton more.

It is entirely unfair that the democrats get an investigation into the Russians but we who won the election don’t get any investigation into any other forign ‘interference’.

When the Left’s voice of reason is Rolling Stone, they are too far gone to save themselves.

WHEN Russiagate blows up and puts the leakers on trial for espionage and conspiracy, then exposes the seditious conspiracy of it’s origins, the Democrats will be out of power for at least 40 years.

People ARE going to prison. And none of them will be associated with Donald Trump.

That's when "fake news" was invented. The lamestreamers are running with it as if their entire existence depends on it.

It does.

What would their consumers say if it came to light that the reporters and editors were rewarded for their slavish lap-dog coverage with trips to Epstein's Island, or more local pizza and cocktail wiener parties?
