Following several days of bad publicity, University of Arizona officials said Friday they may eliminate the title — but not the job — of student "Social Justice Advocates."
It's not just the title of the new job position creating problems, either.

They’re not happy to just take money from Whitey. They want to beat Whitey down and keep him from complaining.

One other point. In Communist Cambodia, if you were caught wearing eyeglasses or speaking English, you were immediately executed, as those things imply that you were of the well-educated class - something that cannot be allowed under Social Justice.

Not a bad term to use, but unless we qualify it, people will claim that we’re talking about our people. So maybe something like “Democrat Party Brownshirts”, or something close.

They are informants ... just like the during the Stasi years of East Germany ... just like people turning in their Jewish neighbors (or neighbors harboring Jews) to the Wehrmacht in German occupied countries. This was especially bad in Paris. For a few francs people would turn in their longtime neighbors.
I see this as the same thing.
Social Justice Advocate, is the grown up version of the Play Ground Monitor.
How about “Stasi,” that would be a good name for the sneaky little ....

You cannot believe just how bad the U. of Arizona is. Aside from toprank science programs a degree in the social sciences and liberal arts is not worth the money spent. And still the University grows, like some giant amoeba gobbling up downtown Tucson. The most recent was a land grab of two square blocks for an Honors Program (which is laughable given that grading is on a curve from B to A). In today’s Tucson the only people who would be sad to see the university shuttered would be the bar owners.
These “bias reporters” are modeled off Soviet Union chekists.
Social justice is communitarianism redefined. Instead of permanent class struggle, you get society divided into competing demographic groups that can never communicate or cooperate but the big nanny state who loves them all will mediate squabbles and take care of the poor little babies and punish the bad ones who took too much.
That’s a damned shame. I took some graduate-level classes at the UofA to finish my undergraduate work there and they were very good, but that was 30 years ago. I understand that Tucson itself is a lot different too.
