Trump fu traps James Comey?

Interesting how things come around again.

Anyway, the other day, Trump needed to know if Comey was one of the big leakers trying to destroy him. Because the NYT and WaPo and a thousand other media types have made no secret of their bloodlust when it comes to destroying one Donald Trump, duly elected president of the United States.

I'll bet that Trump, who knows how to confuse liberals with his words, said something that was almost impeachable, but not quite. But nobody is going to confess to taping it, because that would also be illegal.

So Comey snaps at the sucker bait and tells Jim Clapper (who just got fired himself as DCI) that Trump is dead meat.

The House Intelligence Committee instantly asks Comey to testify. Secretly or publicly. They don't care. They just want to see a dead body swinging in the wind.

Then Trump springs his trap, using his favorite bullhorn: his Twitter account and its several million followers.

Including all the news media, who keep a 24-hour death watch on Trump's tweets, waiting for him to break his neck in public.

So Trump tweets:

James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!

That was 5.25 am on 12 May 2017.

Not true. In the Federal District of DC, it only requires one party consent. Now having said that, I think Trump was, once again, implying something. Like "wiretaped", I don't think he literally meant "Tape". What he could be implying is that the deep state is still recording his calls without his knowledge and that there may be a "tape" of the phone conversations somewhere.

Comey who prides himself as being the smartest man in the room, got taken down by Trump. He was so smart that the next day the FBI was changing his statement that he had made 24 hours earlier.
Trump as fired him publicly and meant to embarrass him. He got one leaker and strung him up and announced to the world that he was done in public when he was in LA. It was public pay back time. You leak and embarrass me, remember I hit twice as hard. Wonder if the leaks slow down just a little.

No organization is using “wire taps” or “tapes” any more, but the those terms are still used for various reasons. They refer to an activity (monitoring, scanning, capturing, filtering, etc.) but can be denied under oath.

Some people were listening when “the definition of “is” is” defense was first used.

What is "almost impeachable"? Impeachable offenses are "high crimes and misdemeanors" which requires both criminal intent AND a criminal ACT.

Just saying that he will order the Marines up from Quantico to invest DC, imprison the scoundrels and restore law and order is not an impeachable offense. He would actually have to complete this highly patriotic and desirable act.

Will the political “BS” ever end so Trump can get on with being the POTUS? Probably not but it is well past time that it does. The he said/she said, innuendos, the lies, the leaks, the phony press stories, the protests, the absolutely idiotic things people say, etc. do NOTHING to improve our country and position in the world. There have been a few reports out there that Comey was fired when he was out of town so that Trump's people had the opportunity to clean out Comey’s office, and therefore any evidence contained therein. Given that Comey is obviously unbalanced, judging by his recent testimony, there is no telling what they found.

It was known by Trump that Comey was an activist for the DNC or uniparty. He never should have never met with Comey without attorneys present given he is under investigation by Comey’s people.

It was reported that the order to fire Comey was personally delivered to the FBI by Trump’s personal security lead. Suppose Comey’s files, hard drives, etc were inventoried and lock-boxed for the next FBI director to sieve through.

Everywhere you look you find people throwing "impeachment" around as though that is the way you get rid of something you don't like just because you don't like it.

Another dandy is the "treason" crowd.

Treason is pretty specific and it's not something you see every day.

I think that these "treason" philes are probably looking at "sedition".

The nasty leaks about Trump started when he announced he was running in 2015, and those same leaks went into hyper drive on Nov 9, 2016/.

When ANY organization or Company is having a problem of leaks, the quickest way I know of is to tell different stories to different people. KEEP A LIST of who & what you you said......

Then when a particular story appears that implies or states what ‘you said’....you can spring the trap.

I would be furious about any leaks if I ws running a small company-—and I can well support Trump being furious about leaks in the Trump Administration. This isn’t just an affront to Trump’s status as President-—this could be dangerous to the whole country & our security.

I say-—Trump set his own trap-—and those who think they are sooooo important & have the right to leak ANYTHING deserve tpo be fired——forthwith.

Comy has been all over the map with his decisions. Either you are in support of the security of the USA or you are NOT-—There is NO IN BETWEEN in MY world.

I think that EVERY single person of authority who has served in the Obama Administration should be removed-—down to a janitor if necessary.

You cannot leave traitors inside any job where they can do damage. I know a life-lesson story about a person who was given a 2 week notice instead of being handed a 2 week paycheck.

The damage she did to the organization in that 2 week period was monumental.

Clapper WAS NOT FIRED - he resigned from his post after the election. And he wasn’t DCI - he was Director or National Intelligence - DNI!

I wouldn’t put up any of that author’s articles in the future if he can’t be bothered to take the time to get it right!

I’ve been hearing about “fake news” for a long time now and wondered why it was called “fake news” just simply because people preferred not to believe something but this article DEFINITELY fits the description.

Cryptic? THAT and with downright falsehoods. See my Post #19. It was so poorly written I can’t believe anyone would even waste the time to publish it...I’ll be on the watch for that guy and I’ll be sure to avoid anything by him in the future.
