I bet SHE wouldn't eat that for ANY meal.
Nothing wrong with candy and soda vending machines in schools. It is not the responsibility of the government to decide what my children choose to eat or drink. Since I don’t have any “kids” (young goats) and I DO have six grandchildren, I can attest to their choices being generally very aware of healthy choices. I can also attest to “treats’ not being outside the realm of a healthy diet. It’s an odd world where “children’ can be allowed to murder their unborn infant by an abortion without the parent’s knowledge, but cannot be allowed to choose to drink an orange soda or cola drink and heaven forbid they eat a candy bar!
How about we let kids enjoy childhood.
Isn't she brave, preaching to the choir.
Yes, I agree. Let's start by raising the voting age to 25 (active military and vets excepted).
“Shut up and eat your peas”
I grew up in the dark ages when schools had NO vending machines. Not a one! We seemed to get along fine, were well nourished, and got an education.
Yeah its pretty impressive for a kid to hear old buffalo butt talk about healthy dietary tips ...... with fritos and root beer still on her breath.
Yet she’s no doubt against GMO labeling.
I hope the first “Revealed” part on the cover is true.
The Children’s Parents are the Adults in the room, you are not Moochelle.
You can feed YOUR Kids all the Wagu Beef they can swallow.
It is not your job to tell other People what their Children should eat.
Our menu at school had on different days of course Pizza , Burgers, Hotdogs, Spagetti , Lasagna, Chili Mac, Mac’n Cheese, Meatloaf, Fried Chicken, Fried Fish etc with sides of potatoes, beans, rolls, cornbread, garlic toast, carrots, onion rings were standards .... ice cream, cake and pie as well. We ate good at my Texas public school..... God Bless the lunch ladies that could cook !!
OMG!! I thought I’d seen all the photos of the wookie in *weird poses*. How did I miss THIS one???
I actually think kids should pack lunches. It would save a ton of money for the district. I went to catholic school in the late 80’s and lunch was not offered. You brought or you begged your friends for something or you starved. We survived.
The do a terrible job teaching right now. The response is to also allow them to provide terrible meals to the kids as well? Make them dumb and indoctrinated and also provide crappy nutrition and meals?
These are two major criteria that define a cult. Brainwashing and malnutrition. Truancy laws give the third criteria, namely you have to be there and can’t leave when you want.
Government schools are a cult.
REALLY?
Exactly, this ignorant slob doesn’t get it..kids just wont eat, which is way worse in my opinion.
You have to give kids options, they’ll find something they like but forcing them to eat nasty, tasteless food is not the solution.
I agree.
In fact, note that the following excerpts indicate that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to make policy for INTRAstate schools.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Also note that schools unsurprisingly dont seem to understand the following. Consider that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had clarified Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, intrastate schooling in this example.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
The only reason that school administrators comply with federal government school policies is the following imo.
Military training issues aside, low-information administrators dont seem to understand that all federal funding for intrastate schools is arguably state revenues that the feds have stolen from the states in the form of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, evidenced by Gibbons excerpt above.
In other words, administrators probably dont understand that the feds should not be dictating how the states should manage state revenues, intrastate schools an example. (Corrupt federal lawmakers provide unconstitutional federal funding for intrastate schools to buy votes from low-information voters imo.)
Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!
Remember in November 18 !
Since Trump entered the 16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the 18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.
Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.
In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.
Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February 18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.
While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably havent been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.
Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitutions Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal governments powers.
Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal governments limited powers listed above.
