Chelsea Manning, the US Army private sentenced to a military prison for passing classified documents to WikiLeaks, released a statement Tuesday thanking her supporters eight days before her expected release. “For the first time, I can see a future for myself as Chelsea,” Manning, a transgender woman formerly known as Bradley, said in a statement, The Hill reported. “I can imagine surviving and living as the person who I am and can finally be in the outside world.”

Why are they letting him out? Was his sentence really that short?

Obama commuted his 35 year sentence.

I stop reading every article about Manning at the first use of them referring to HIM as “her” or “she”.

His butthole must be as stretched as the spandex in Oprah’s girdle.

0bama commuted Manning's sentence. If there's an upside, he can get denutted all he wants now but we're not going to be paying for it.

I thought, since the operation, he didn’t need a supporter anymore.

Bradley Manning is a freak and a traitor, but I am not as upset with his release as I usually am in cases like this. “Sure you can get out early, just cut off your . . .” I don’t think there will be a lot of takers. As a bonus, we don’t have to pay his high medical bills once he’s free.

That could be a good option for rapists. “The good news is, you can get out of prison. The bad news is, you gotta cut of your tallywhacker first”.

No, not many takers.

You would know if you read the article...

Manning will be sprung from Fort Leavenworth in Kansas on May 17 after spending seven years behind bars in male-only prisons in Iraq, Kuwait and the US.

President Obama commuted her sentence just before leaving the White House, saying time served was punishment enough.
