The talking point is going to be “Nixonian” as Tricky Dick fired the entire DOJ to try and get away from Watergate.
Recent testimony hung Comey.
Comey said the leaks were the subject of an ongoing FBI investigation.
According to yesterday’s testimony, neither Clapper nor Yates have been questioned by the FBI regarding the leaks.
This proves among other things that Comey uses his position to control others without actually doing the job that an FBI director is supposed to do, investigate and make a referral to the DOJ.
This is a “just cause” firing if ever you saw one.
He never subpoened the DNC server. Why would the head of a law enforcement agency not do this?
Comey has announced investigation yet never investigates and strings along the target of the investigation for years. That’s bad. They have been investigating Trump/Russia for almost a year, yet, nothing.
Comey used his office to lord over politicians, both Dem and Repub. Trump waited for the live testimony to make it clear.
I am glad he waited.

That was Comey's "insurance policy." Phony "investigations" that he announced to the press and to Congress in front of the cameras. He was "investigating" Trump and the Russians, and he would continue to "investigate" for years.
If fired, Comey knew (as is happening right now) that the media and the Democrats would scream bloody murder.
Comey didn't think President Trump would call his bluff.
He guessed wrong.

The talking points of the Democrats and Media (but I repeat myself) just aren't what they used to be, as far as carrying any credibility whatsoever with the American people.
The People are well versed in the "subtleties" of the Fake News at this point. Clumsy propaganda—which is all the Media is hawking at the moment—just underscores the fact that they have absolutely nothing substantive to offer in the way of criticism, and therefore must resort to the breathtakingly feeble smear tactics.
The Media's legitimacy diminishes with each passing day. The entire country now sees them—the whole lot of them, including "conservative" Fox (LOL!)—as nothing more than the Ministry of Propaganda for the Swamp...
I hope the deep state is not allowed access to Comey's office now. Trump should have 'Trump-friendly' 24 hour security agents (SS?) posted at Comey's office front door tonight.
About time is right. Comey has twisted himself like a pretzel with his positions and decisions, several times over, in the past year, and it was time to inject some credible new leadership into the FBI.
Bottom line many agents in the FBI had lost confidence it him. I think Trump realized that and did the right thing.

On the screen are Martha, Carl Rove, and Judge Napolitano and all three are clearly reacting to this "news" as I am. I have, as we all, suspected this but to hear it stated, as I believe, to be fact was jaw dropping.

Former Assistant FBI states on FoxNews that Lynch wouldn't allow a grand jury investigation into the Hillary email investigation.
Rosenstein worked quick. He came to the obvious conclusion - goodbye Comey.
