Why are our soldiers in Somalia? Nothing good in or from that part of the world.
Because the horn of africa is one of the most vital geostrategic spots in the globe. Proximity to KSA + Iran + the world’s most important shipping route.
Somalia is the base of operations for eastern Africa. Spec Ops and what-not go to Somalia and are then deployed all over the continent.
And why are we in Africa....because there is a lot of oil in Nigeria. And because there are rare earth elements on the continent.
And, there are some Terrorist groups; which if you scratch the surface a little bit, are less Jihadi and more MS13.
If Trump had any brains he would pull us out of that mess before we get trapped.
