A Prisoner In Nevada And A Prisoner In Nevada

Leopoldo Lopez has not seen a visitor for 37 days in his Venezuelan prison.

Senator Marco Rubio said he was taken to a hospital in a very serious condition.

There is concern about what the regime did to him.

His wife has stood outside the prison seeking to be allowed in.

In Nevada, Ammon Bundy was beaten and shackled earlier this week for a 13 hour period with guards threatening to leave him that way for 72 hours leaving Bundy fearing for his life.

He sounded broken and hurt when he called his wife and activist Kelli Stewart afterwards.

The protest has begun outside that Nevada prison over the brutality there this week.

People are being urged to show up outside the Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump.

Ammon Bundy's lawyer is seeking access to him to find out what his condition is.

Sad that news of this protest was pulled from FR yesterday. Is this Venezuela-USA?

Thanks, Spiridon, for your post earlier..."Are They Really Torturing Ammon Bundy"......

I'm not saying you're wrong.
And I'm not saying you're right.

I'm just asking a simple question here:

"In Nevada, Ammon Bundy was beaten and shackled earlier this week for a 13 hour period with guards threatening to leave him that way for 72 hours leaving Bundy fearing for his life."

If this is true, why has the lawyer not filed a writ of Habeus Corpus and asked for expedited discovery?

Writs and other constitutional and legal benefits only apply when the federal judge allows them. And some federal judges are so petty, vindictive, sometimes partisan, and other times so committed to government power, that they fully participate and even encourage abuse of such rights.

Such abuses are not widely known, because their perpetrators are smart enough to use the power of their bench to prevent their disclosure.

And the heinous nature of some of these acts are far worse than what happened and is happening to Ammon Bundy.

Few defense attorneys are brave enough to cross a corrupt, sadistic, or cruel judge. They can ruin a career, get them thrown in jail or even prison.

Here, in the same case, the judge actively tried to protect federal marshals who physically beat and abused a defense attorney.

The 64,000 dollar question. In a sane non Federal world, he probably would be, but he is in the Federal system, and brother, many have not survived. In addition there are many that never make it to trial or encarceration. In general, if you make it into their prison system, particularly as a political prisoner, you might just be hounded daily in order to humiliate and harrass you until your sentence is complete. In the Bundy’s case they have not even been tried, much less convicted and they are enjoying the fruits of political encarceration. God help them, and the rest of us unindicted conspiritors.

To those who have never been in, it is at best an eye opening experience totally unrelated to Justice, and more akin to the gulags. All one needs to get a picture, is face to face with former political prisoners, or reading their memoirs.

From what this article suggests, “Innocent until proven guilty” is NOT what someone needs to worry about, it’s what happens to the accused along the way. In today’s world, nothing would surprise me.

"Because it has the smell of three day old fish"

Why?
Do you actually trust government after Waco, Ruby Ridge, Benghazi and countless other events?
Do you honestly believe that standing up to them is entirely safe?
