The Lord created our animal friends to protect us, to keep us company, to feed us, and in the old days, to help us farm and to provide transportation.
What the heck. I am no theologian. :) But I am sitting out on the porch with my dog, who senses intuitively when I am about to feed her (seriously). I can go into the kitchen for a glass of water; she doesn't follow me. But if I go into the kitchen for a snack, even before I have touched anything, she'll come and lie down and stare at me with her big brown eyes. :)

We have begun a thorough investigation into this unfortunate situation and have placed the staff member on administrative leave. We do not condone or support the conduct expressed in the video and are deeply disappointed that this incident occurred. His conduct does not represent the values of our school district or the respect we expect our employees to show for the civil rights of others. This has now become a Personnel matter and we must follow the policies and procedures we have in place regarding staff issues. We truly apologize for the actions of this employee.
