With This Budget Deal, The Swamp Wins

Big Government: You can tell whether a spending agreement is good or bad based on who is smiling: the swamp dwellers, or those who want to drain the swamp. This budget made the swamp dwellers very happy.

Shortly after announcing a $1.1 trillion — with a "t" — spending deal to fund the federal government's domestic and military programs for the next five months, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called it a "very good deal for the American people."

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said it "reflects Democrats' values to protect health care, environment and education."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that "we now have an agreement that both sides should support," praising the negotiations as "bipartisan and bicameral every step of the way."

The New York Times gushed that the bill "could serve as a template for putting together the next round of spending bills."

When you hear talk like that, grab on to your wallet...

the swamp can’t be drained apparently. It will have to be burned and turned to ash. Violence is good. Violence is the only thing that brings about true change in the course of human events. Regarding the government, I'm as critical as anyone and more critical than most, and, at the margin, the Republicans in DC are as bad as the Democrats.

In this instance, before I blow my brains out, I want to see what the administration comes up with for Oct 1 or Sept 1 or whenever the next year starts.

Knowing what I know today, I still will take Trump over clinton. Let's see if he can get control of recalcitrant Republicans, who want to be Democrats, and fix this mess.

From Nov 8th 2016 thru March 31st 2017 the DC swamp dwellers were actually afraid something might actually change the status quo. They were humbled. It was real. We had them centered in our reticle. I couldn't believe it it seemed the Deplorables would have their day. How glorious it was witnessing that taming but this will never happen again. The first 100 days was a once in a 100 year chance and now it is gone. The Establishment DC maggots are feeling their oats knowing the trough is open for business again.

The budget war will only get worse as DC is out of control. God bless Pres. Trump may he have the strength.

Oh really, you can read Schumer’s mind? You are being played. The Dems are trying to look like they have a win because they have been on a losing streak. They need something to sell their base on.
Just watch yesterday’s presser with Mulvaney. The Dems lost in Nov and they are losing now. Thiswas BO’s budget that he didn’t bother to hammer out giving Trump a bite of the apple. Next budget is Trump’s.
