Bolton was at most UN ambassador, Rice was Nat. Security director, presumably a higher grade than her failed gig at UN.

Since I can’t read the whole WJS article, can anyone summarize why Bolton was attacked in the first place?
This “unmasking” issue is full of crap as Sen. Ted Kennedy tried to stop the adoption of the “Intelligence Agents indentities Act” which would have made it a crime to expose active Us intelligence operatives. Kennedy lost in his efforts but no one seemed to care that he was Deliberately weakening a law that would protect them and send their exposers to jail for a long time (i.e. Philip Agee and his crowd, including Newsweek or Time magazine writer Mark Hosenball who was thrown out of England as a security threat.)
Sen. Church almost exposed the US agent in Operation Solo, Morris Childs, a former Communist turned US govt operative for the FBI, inside the Kremlin. Only a last minute plea from some high ranking intell people, and possible from Pres Ford or Carter, stopped Church from this act of treason.
Rep. Robert Drinan (D-Mass) and his Marxist sidekick Rep. Michael Harrington (D-Mass) both tried to release classified information from the House Internal Security Committee files, with Drinan receiving a reprimand and Harrington literally being denied access to any govt files (He was also a mental case, as was Drinan, an early Liberation Theology Jesuit turncoat).
No one knows how many secrets Comrade Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich) ahs given the CPUSA and/or the Soviets over 5 decades or more of treasonous acts. The same for Rep. Bella Abzug (D-NY) and other known or suspected members of the Communist Party USA in Congress, including Sen. Alan Cranston (D—Cal), the Burton brothers (D-Ca), Ron Dellums (D-CA) who was giving some classified materials to the Marxist dictator of Grenada, Maurice Bishop, who just happened to be boinking Dellum’s aide Carliotta Scott (found in captured Grenada Marxist archives), etc.
The same goes for Hillary Clinton because of her communist contacts over the years and esp. for Obama whose top friends and advisors were CPUSA members, some of whom turned Democratic Socialist of America members, and other assorted reds (Rep. Danny Davis, D-Ill, associated with the CPUSA, Bill Ayers and wife, Weathermen, etc.
And this is only the tip of the story.
Susan Rice and Nancy Pelosi are vying for the Blue Ribbon in lying....both are jaw dropping liars...they say the most outrageous things they can’t back up or have any basis for. Nancy’s insane hand waving delivery and unbelievable pronouncements, are mind boggling. Rice is the lap puppet for far left lies, she just parrots the disinformation fed to her.
