“The Daily Show’s” Hasan Minhaj, who is hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in DC, was asked by organizers not to make fun of President Donald Trump, who will not be in attendance, says a source who saw the comic at the Village Underground on Thursday.
“It was a polite request because Trump is so thin-skinned,” the source said.
Reuters’ Jeff Mason, who is president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, insists he never said Trump was “thin-skinned,” but added that he wanted a balanced event.

Why should he make himself available for these bitter fools to throw their insults at? Most any other time, I’d say, he should go, but these people have proven to be quite vicious, and openly bias against anything conservative.
Most of them probably support the Antifa, and many of them may even be active members of the Antifa. This level of hostility is very different than anything faced by most modern day presidents.
Besides that, Pres. Trump doesn’t need to go just to prove to these folks ho great a guy he is. If he went, they would use that to slam him, saying he was a Troll or an ‘Attention whore’.
