Premise A: Lesbians are sexually attracted to women only.

Premise B: Women cannot impregnate women.

Conclusion: Lesbians have higher pregnancy rates than non-lesbian women.

It’s contrary to all reason, but it's true. Lesbians have significantly higher pregnancy rates than their heterosexual peers. It’s also true for teen gay males. They are substantially more likely to impregnate their sexual partners than are heterosexual males.

I’ve heard credible studies which show that lesbians HAVE MORE HETEROSEXUAL SEX than normal people, especially as teens. I know it’s counter-intuitive, but they are just sluts. Perhaps they tried to compensate for their feelings, or that there are not really that many “pure” lesbians (I believe that’s really the case.)

But we're talking about "rate," not a total number. I assume that means a ratio: a percent, which is what's indicated by the charts, like this one:

IVF? That costs tens of thousands of dollars and would require many trips to the clinic and a parent's permission. The article is about teenagers. I doubt many of them are conceiving by AI or IVF.

These are reckless, confused teenagers who are just coupling-up hither and thither with male and female to figure out what feels right or to have interesting experiences which they hope will contain clues about how to live their lives.

They are acting on impulse without a real life plan, therefore more pregnancies, They call themselves gay or lesbian or bisexual because "straight" doesn't convey how shape-shifting and unstable they are.

They are messed up. There's some lack of parental guidance and stability on average, I suspect.

That's my take on it, anyway.

No, it was a study of teens, reporting their claimed "orientation," and quantifying their reported experience of being parents.

Now, this isn't the best way to gather accurate data, so it doesn't tell us nearly as much as one might wish. However, it tell us one thing that is quite interesting: that there is a considerable disjunction between reported "orientation" and actual behavior.

People who care about helping young people to avoid lives of degradation, illness, and early mortality could draw some useful, if not universal, conclusions from this data. For example, they might reason that "sexual minority-ism" is not a quality like "blindness" or "paralysis," but a behavioral choice that some are making in response to various negative life situations. This affects, for example, how a medical worker reacts to the situation of a pregnant "lesbian."

This study is dealing with babies conceived by natural means. It's understandable that a casual reader would think that "lesbian" means "doesn't have sex with men," but the article makes it clear that the study respondents don't mean that. "Gay" in the context doesn't mean "doesn't have sex with women." And "Questioning" means "I'm trying all sorts of stuff with absolutely anyone."

Actually rather old news. It is all mostly a fantasy they want the rest of the world to go along with. Politics and just general angst drives a lot of it.

Homosexuality is a lot like militant atheism. If God doesn’t exist, why do you hate Him so much? Lesbians relationships are often violent because 1) each partner lives in fear that the other will go back to the other side and 2) they often do.
