A Macalester College student organization referring to itself as “Stop White Noise” recently held a moment of silence to protest “the centrality of whiteness and Eurocentrism on campus.”
“The intent of this action is to raise awareness of the space whiteness takes up in our classrooms and curriculum,” a website created for the organization explains, even revealing that protesters would be “entering various classrooms” with “the permission of professors.”

How many were white?
The complainers need to enroll at the U of Harare, Zimbabwe.
Is that “protesters would be entering various classrooms with the permission of professors” for gender/racial studies courses that have no academic content, so they welcome the distraction? Or is that “protesters would be entering various classrooms with the permission of professors” after a quick “nice engineering classroom you have there, it would be a shame if something happened to it”?
Thugs will be thugs, and I’d guess this is the same as protection rackets, union recruiting, and everything else the Ctrl-Left does. Professers will comply with protest demands. Or else.
One such post, purportedly left by a minority student, ridiculed the moment of silence as “nothing more than idiotic virtue signaling,” while another anonymous writer praised an individual who apparently “played the National Anthem during the #StopWhiteNoise protest,” calling the person a “f####g legend.”
Sixty-five percent of the students at this place are “white — non-Hispanic.” Every white student who isn’t racked with fake guilt, every white alumnus and anyone else who donates to the place who finds this nonsense unacceptable, should pull out immediately. Let’s see what happens then.
These little snowflakes are going to spend a lot of their lives being very frustrated, because they refuse to understand that the white man created western civilization and the very comforts that allow them the leisure time to worry about being victims.
They will NEVER cause the white man to diminish, no matter how many tantrums, how many marches, how many signs they carry, how many accusations of racism. They should heed Clint Eastwood’s words: “A man’s gotta accept his limitations.”
I would have blasted Beethoven’s 9th symphony Ode to Joy. :)
By historical happenstance, America was populated largely by people who were both white and of a thorough Christian morality (however details differed from denomination to denomination).
Some of the credibility of American white Christendom was thrown away on the peculiar race-based slave institution. I think in 20-20 hindsight we can all thoroughly wish that had never happened, despite whatever silver linings the Lord permitted those clouds to have. However the sin attracted a phalanx of never-dying demons, that lie to people to this day, and that now must be dealt with.
Anyhow I’d say to those folks, I agree, so don’t make whiteness central. Make a race blind philosophy central. I like to kid that we should all identify as rednecks. Yellow, red, tan, white, and black. There’s more that made America unique than mere color, and a lot of it is summed up in the better sense of “redneck.” Not afraid to be despised by the world, but takes pride in what he accomplishes by the glory of God.
Every time I hear about crap like this, I look at how the blacks have handled things in Africa since they ran most of the white devils out. Genocide, uncounted child rapes, forcing young boys into military service, famine, and rampant terrorist acts. Maybe these wa wa folks ought to go there and use their superior intellect to make the world a better place for those black folks.
Famous quote from Ali when he was over in Zaire for the Rumble in the Jungle and commented being there made him thankful his ancestors were brought over.
Another fine private liberal arts college down the drain.
It seems that 98% of modern science and technology was developed by those nasty white people. Suck on that, snowflakes.
Wish they could be persuaded to extend that for the rest of the year.
Translation: eliminate all the truly academic courses.
Those clowns could not change a light bulb.
We are talking scientic notation to capture their stupidity.
As such, they are all future journalists and politicians.
And targets.
Without pictures, we don’t know how many are white. Guessing that was intentional.
I don’t remember blacks marching saying “We’re so bad, we’re so evil, we deserve to be oppressed.” Dhimmi in the Muslim world oppressed for a thousand years by systemic oppression and abuse by Muslims,yes, to save their lives, but not any modern ethnic groups.
I would love to know how many people actually participate out of the student body... I’m guessing it’s less then 5-10% based on talking with my daughter at osu.
If they want more time devoted to non-whites, then non-whites need to go out and accomplish more things so people can teach about them. There is only so much time you can devote to George Washington Carver’s 500 peanut recipes.
Coloreds don’t like it, let them start their own university. Or country for that matter. You want it to be better? Step up and quit whining. Hint: it ain’t Whirey holding you back.
