Fox News host Sean Hannity tweeted Thursday in support of Fox News co-president Bill Shine after New York Magazine's Gabriel Sherman reported Thursday on questions about his future at the network.
"Gäbe i pray this is NOT true because if it is, that's the total end of the FNC as we know it. Done," Hannity tweeted.

According to Sherman's reporting, Shine recently asked James and Lachlan Murdoch, the 21st Century Fox CEO and chairman, to publish a statement in support of him. Shine's reported request followed weeks of intense scrutiny of the network after the recent ousting of Fox's most popular host, Bill O'Reilly, amid a sexual harassment scandal.
Spokespeople for Shine and the Murdochs denied that Shine asked for a statement of support.
Soon after his first tweet responding to Sherman's story, Hannity tweeted again, apparently referring to Shine, that "somebody high up and inside FNC is trying to get an innocent person fired. And Gabe I know who it is." Hannity then tweeted, "#Istandwithbill" and "#Istandwithshine" in support of the Fox executive.
I’m a little surprised this wasn’t posted already from one of the many sources publishing it. At least not from the search I made for it using just “Sean Hannity” and searching just the titles.
It’s a shame to see it dying from poor management or possibly intentional destruction by management.
“Its a shame to see it dying”
Come back to earth. Ratings are at an all time high.
You are just falling for leftwing propaganda. I bet you thought that Hillary was going to win the election too.
Dammit, Sean, if you know who it is, spit it out. This is no time to play coy.
Yes, rating are good ( and only GOD knows WHY [usual FNC watchers just doing so out of habit and/or many are not REALLY all that CONSERVATIVE and are more than willing to watch CRAP]since the Murdoch boys have and still ARE ruining the entire night programming ), but stupid FLUFF at 9:00 PM., with a show like THE VIEW, with the nasty, annoying Greg G., the cocaine and booze addict Beckel, who is just a raving, faaaaaaaaaar lefty, OUT OF CONTROL arsehole, one uber RINO GOPE dimbulb and the ever leg swinging sort of conservative.
The ONLY show worth watching, on FNC, now is Hannity.
I like Hemmer and Bream in the morning
As anyone who ever reads my post knows, I hate, loathe, abominate, and abhor BLOODY KELLY ( and wish her the worst ); however, I'd watch her, over THE FIVE! *spit*
It’s been dead and dying for some time now.
O’Reilly was a wishy washy moderate at best. A supporter of the gang of 8 amnesty bill. Megyn was a rabid leftwing fanatic and Trump hater. These were the stars of Fox News before Murdoch got involved in the day to day management of the network.
Now Hannity is getting most of the O’Reilly viewers. These viewers are not getting brainwashed by moderate BS anymore.
The M. boys took over about 2 years ago...’nough said.
Who did you like then that you miss now? Greta?
Tucker puts on an act, for his show, ALWAYS has on faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar lefty nobodies, who NEVER should get ANY air time, and the last segment "FRIENDS AT FNC", or whatever it's called, is more boring than watching paint dry!
And THE FIVE is puerile, twee, aimed at birdbrains, and all they need are Jerry Rivers, Shep Smith, and Juan to REALLY round out the insane asylum that's already there...except for Watters.
Greta WAS good.
“he did have good guests on”
Yes, but those guests have contracts with the network and you can find them all on the Hannity show.
You’re wrong buddy
This ain’t about ratings
There are truly only three watchable shows, for me, on FNC now: Hannity and Watters & Judge Jeanine on Saturday. Kurtz isn't bad on Sundays, but that isn't "news" nor opinion.
I caught about 5 minutes of The Five tonight. Chris Wallace was in the center chair. It was pretty bad. I find Gutfeld particularly obnoxious - small man with big loud mouth
I refuse to watch it...so thanks for the info. I especially LOATHE Gujtfeld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I felt like me and Fox began to part ways when I became solid for Trump.
It became clear at that time that “We Report, You Decide” was a lie.
However, despite that, Hannity, even though he can be annoying as Hell sometimes, was as neutral and as informative as a host could be during the primaries, and once they were decided and trump was selected, he backed him rock solid, so I appreciate that and respect him.
Hey.. how about the two guys who do the TV commercials for SONIC drive ins?... seems like they'd fit right in.
