The “Antifa” far left Communist group has managed to get an entire parade and carnival canceled in Portland because the Multnomah County Republicans were going to be in the parade.
The communists threatened to riot, loot, assault people at the parade. The festival people decided to cancel the entire weekend of activities, which was going to be this weekend due to the threats of violence by the leftist group.
The Antifa group promised to rush the parade and drag away the Republicans.
“We will have two hundred or more people rush into the parade into the middle and drag and push those people out as we will not give one inch to groups who espouse hatred toward lgbt, immigrants, people of color or others. In case the message was not clear to you this is a sanctuary city and state and we will not allow these people to spread their views in East Portland. You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely.”

The Nazis had this down to an art. The Antifa people may claim to be communists, but there really is no distinction. They are just fascists.

Marches should have anti-antifa security. My suggestion would be an armed detachment of people with DP-12 shotguns and 00 buckshot.
That's assault and kidnapping by a terrorist organization known to hit innocents from behind and then stomp on those who are down - justification for deadly force in self-defense. You cannot shoot Antifa thugs rushing a parade in the middle of a crowd, but there are options. Spyderco, Benchmade, and Cold Steel (preferably products that have "rescue" or "survival" in the name, rather than "tactical") come to mind.
Question for you guys/gals: What does it take to get groups like these declared a terrorist organization? I mean, groups like ALF and ELF have been declared terrorists, I see very little difference between them and ANTIFA. So does the DoJ just do it? Is there a vote of some sort? Is it literally just a declaration?
The leadership and funders of these "groups" are who needs to be identified/named, targeted, and prosecuted...
