Not quite all the also-rans, I should say. Jean-Luc Melenchon, the communist, said today hed offer no endorsement for the runoff, but both Francois Fillon, the center-right candidate, and Benoit Hamon, the socialist, are behind Macron. So is the current president, Francois Hollande, although thats no surprise. Macron was one of his advisors.

Guess who’s the sock puppet now!
Macron is married to Brigitte Trogneux, 24 years his senior, who was his teacher in La Providence high school in Amiens. They first met when he was a 15-year-old student in her drama class, but were officially a couple only after he turned 18.
hope for the best....its not in our hands...
I have been saying all along that Le Pen is not going to win. However divided the other candidates were they and their followers are united in their hostility to the Front National. It’s hard for me to imagine a scenario where she gets more than a third of the vote. The only way she would have had a shot is if the other candidate was Jean-Luc Melenchon (the Communist).
Calling all ISIS terrorists........France welcomes you!!!!
Is France about to elect a macaron as President? Zut alors!
That should be the goal - our two-party system lets globalizing technocrats run both parties, and with it our country into the ground.
If the tea party/freedom caucus could feasibly create their own party, it could move things rightward. You already see this in Germany, where the center-left/right parties have formed a “grand coalition” that resembles our uniparty, to fend of outsider challenges. Similar trends in Italy with the 5 star movement and in France with Melanchon and Le Pen threatening the duopoly of the gaullist “right” (not really) and “socialist” (not really) center-left.
With only two weeks until the next election, it is difficult to sway public opinion. Maybe Le Pen has an October surprise or they may be another major terrorist attack. It will be very difficult for Le Pen to win, but it is not impossible.
Macron has the gizzer vote locked in lol with his 64 y.o. wife. She has aged well, though.
I bet they had the relationship going well before he turned 18. They just don’t want to make her look like a pervert.

She was a perv. Any teacher that gets involved with a 15-18 year old is a sicko. She was late 30s to 40 at the time.
And, yes, she has aged well.
Heard the same crap. Same fake news organizations that refuse to attribute the climbing stock market to Trump’s election.
“Will those on the right vote for a dyed in the wool socialist who was Holland’s economic minister over a French nationalist?”
Some on the right will most definitely vote for Macron because they’re France’s version of “Never Trumpers”.
Well at least you wont have to waste time feeling sorry when another attack takes place there.
I sure as hell wont.
I agree. A French voter who supports her would surely have voted for her in round one.
Please God, help Marine Le Pen demolish the Hollande Clone!
Maybe - but remember only you and I knew Trump would win - no one else. Don’t count the lady out!
I think it’s on the POSSIBILITY she might win.
France is still cucked.
While the spread is 24 points at the moment, this is not undoable. LePen is at 38% which is pretty astounding. She finishd at 21% last night, so she has increased her share 17% overnight. Her task is to get another 12% plus 1 vote. The problem is she has only 13 days to close the gap. We’ll see what transpires but it is not a hopeless endeavor at the moment. If she starts polling in the low 40’s within the next week she has a very good chance of stealing this.
