Debbie Schlussel... claimed that while she was with Hannity in Detroit, he repeatedly invited her to his hotel room. When she declined the invitation, she claims, he didn’t have her back on his show...
Sean Hannity released a statement to LawNewz.com strongly denying the allegations:
“LET ME BE CLEAR THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual ARE 100% false and a complete fabrication.
This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.
The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with.
This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.
My patience with this individual is over. I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.
In this fiercely divided and vindictive political climate I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views. I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American.”

Would love to see it happen but has it ever happened? I don't think there has ever been case in which false allegations of sexual misconduct was ever punished. Women are given carte blanche to lie with impunity and no real consequences attain to them as a result. Sure, men have gotten themselves cleared but nothing really bad ever happens to the woman.
They only go after one at a time. I think it’s an alinsky rule.

Now they’re all running with the story. They know the accuser and they know it’s all bullsh-t but that’s not the point. The accusation IS the point. Even if it doesn’t harm him today they can all say from now on, “Sean Hannity, who’s been accused on several occasions of sexual misconduct, ......” They will make it stick to him by constantly referring to it.

Smart is an UNDERSTATEMENT, more like brilliant in that he put it out there for the Left to make fun of. Now when they come after Pence (and it’s just a matter of time), people will say: “sorry, doesn’t work” with Pence, since we all know he’s never alone with women.
Like I said, brilliant move by Pence, he set up a force field to deflect all incoming, and the Left, and our side for that matter, never even understood what he was doing.
Sessions would do well to follow suit. So would any conservative for that matter.

Yes. I think the goal of Schlussel and whomever she’s working with/for most likely isn’t proving sexual harassment. It’s to stir the pot and create chaos in the lives of decent people. The goal is to destroy marriages, families, and finances — take them down that way. Lies are Democrats’ best friends.

I agree with you. A couple things going on. Hopefully he didn’t do it. If he did he sounds more like a sinner than a harasser. It really comes down to if Fox News stands behind him. Advertisers are not going to fade away just yet.
That’s why counter lawsuits are so important. It’s time to fight back against this. I’d also like to see new laws made to punish false accusations severely enough to make anyone lying to forego that path. Proving it to be a lie is probably difficult but there just being a chance is enough to discourage it.
I envision a day when anyone vulnerable to these kind of lies and accusations will have a device on them that records their personal conversations 24/7 or just when they are dressed possibly which is also instantly streamed to storage when a connection to a cell tower or wifi is available. This device will be small enough to fit on the back of a nickel or lapel pin. This way it won’t just be a he said/she said thing and the liar can expect to do some jail time and get hit with a lawsuit large enough to take everything they own other than their home. Bad choices like that should have severe consequences. It is a crime after all.
Maybe I’m dreaming but vulnerable men need to protect themselves going forward. For that matter some women are vulnerable that way too. They too might want to consider this tech when available.
