Among the speakers at the March for Science on Saturday was a transgender man.
Kellan Baker, a senior fellow with the LGBT research and communications project at American Progress, said it’s important for researchers to remember that the data they collect tell stories.
“We all have a story. Mine is that I’m a public health geek and a policy wonk. I’m also a queer transgender man,” Mr. Baker said, drawing applause.

Someone on this site—sorry;I don’t remember specifically who—offered the most helpful rule on this. Namely, every time you see the word, ‘transgender,’ read it as ‘fake.’ Hence, a ‘transgendered woman’ is a fake woman/actually a man.

There was a tragic comic by a liberal talking about raising a socially conscious little girl.
White girl asks colored boyfriend if the baby girl is awake. The father goes in to hear the baby say “gender is a social construct.” The father says “That baby is WOKE”.
My thought was - if gender is a social construct, how did you know the baby was a girl at birth?
