Even if Marine Le Pen finishes 2nd, I consider it a win for the good guys....and I feel in my bones that she'll win the face-off, also!

So the earlier exit "polls" where LePen was in second place are wrong.

She slipped to second place with 82% of the vote in. I think the earlier estimates of the vote factored in the late reporting districts (cities, like in the US) so I would not be surprised if the estimated vote totals were basically accurate. She did well. She has two weeks to convince a majority of those who did not vote for her or Macron in the first round to vote for her in the second round.

Preliminary polls show Macron in a commanding lead in the run off with Pen. Might have to do with large number of French liberals that live outside France.
