If she does win and I hope she does, one will have to sit back and watch the media.

We'll have to do with her what we do with Trump: Listen to her speeches on youtube ourselves, so we can either ignore or laugh at the subsequent articles in the press lying about what she said. I just checked youtube and there are plenty of them, with translations. This one in particular looks interesting:

Nigel Farage Interviews Marine Le Pen

Only 50% + 1 will get Le Pen elected, sadly. The corrupt French system is designed to stop her in the second round, and will.

Correct. In 2004, based on exit polls, Karl Rove advised President Bush he had been defeated. Same thing, in 2016, based on exit polls, Ivanka advised her father that he had been defeated. Chris Wallace asked then President-Elect Trump about this. He said he felt good, but not great, if that’s the way it was going to be, because he and his team had done everything they could. We have elected a big man. Polls are often wrong.

Why aren’t we hearing any more about the April 15th report of 500,000 voters living outside of France receiving duplicate ballots in a computer error? The articles saw a disadvantage for Le Pen. There should be some way to weight the poll results to find out what the outer edges of that problem could be for her.

Have they taken a poll of the 500K+ “extra” voters?

The questions are: How many of the people who got duplicate ballots are fanatical enough about their preferred candidate to submit both ballots? And to which faction do those with a propensity to do this belong?

I think Le Pen is stronger than the polls show. Around a quarter of the electorate has been indicating they are “undecided”. Really? More likely “Unwilling say to strangers”. A similar phenomenon happened here in November.

It honestly doesn’t matter what her positions are on anything other than the muslim invasion. If they dont’ stop that, everything else is moot.

Emmanuel Macron married his former high school teacher who is 20 years older - nice looking gal.

You forgot the softwood lumber dispute.

Seriously, last week front page headline in one of the national newspapers talked about the "Canadian Crisis" last year. The story referred to the fact that last year not a single Canadian team made the playoffs. Canadians have their priorities straight.

Your post on the predictable and coming press treatment of Marie Le Pen.

.....so we can either ignore or laugh at the subsequent articles lying about what she just said.

I have had to search around for the likes of the British Press for an idea of Nigel Farage's statement to her. Bye Bye EU. My computer video with audio just got filled with a green screen blank out- nothing. Time to call in an expert, a lad who just lives in the neighbourhood.

Your point well taken by me about the softwood lumber dispute. Good for a laugh on our precious Stanley Cup though.
