Very cool.

Spoiler Alert: The video blames Global Warming on all these ships although, as usual, it doesn't get around to telling us how much CO2 has increased in the atmosphere.

When my son was in the Navy one of his last assignments was tracking ships on a map such as this. All ships file a port plan, if they veer from that plan they are contacted. This was in 2004.

I expected to see more ships grouped together based on their direction, in tune with ocean currents.

Did you notice the four or so vessels on the rivers in Siberia? I wonder what that is all about? Surprised to see them even tracked.
