Physicist Howard Hayden's one-letter disproof of global warming claims [pre-Climategate]Dear Administrator Jackson:
I write in regard to the Proposed Endangerment and Cause or Contribute Findings for Greenhouse Gases Under Section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act, Proposed Rule, 74 Fed. Reg. 18,886 (Apr. 24, 2009), the so-called "Endangerment Finding."
It has been often said that the "science is settled" on the issue of CO2 and climate. Let me put this claim to rest with a simple one-letter proof that it is false.
The letter is s, the one that changes model into models. If the science were settled, there would be precisely one model, and it would be in agreement with measurements.
Alternatively, one may ask which one of the twenty-some models settled the science so that all the rest could be discarded along with the research funds that have kept those models alive.
We can take this further. Not a single climate model predicted the current cooling phase. If the science were settled, the model (singular) would have predicted it.

Nature’s climate pendulum is constantly swinging between warm and cold spells (glacial and inter-glacial periods.) For some unexplained reason, about 100,000 to 125,000 years ago the earth’s temperature began cooling form one of its very warm periods and the two polar ice caps began to grow. This warm period is an interglacial period and this particular is know as the Sangamon period. The increased ice in the polar caps very slowly removed fresh water from the oceans. As a result, the ocean level dropped, the living reefs began to die, and, with time, became completely exposed - Voilia, the Keys appeared. As the sea waters fell, the shoreline moved outward and more land mass was exposed.

maybe these little empty heads can explain to everyone how just 0.00136% of the atmosphere is capable of capturing and back radiating enough heat in the right direction to cause global warming? What is the tonnage of air that is warmed by CO2 compared to the tonnage of atmosphere?
Be specific kids- we wait with baited breath for your brilliant breakdown to prove once and for all that man’s CO2 is directly the cause of climate change- We want specifics kids- the math doesn’t lie- so better study hard to give us the answer (I’m betting that once you all find the answer you’ll be too embarrassed to present it because it will be mathematically impossible for such a small amount of CO2 captured/heated air to warm the globe!)
