Teacher filled Cialis scrip before ‘kidnapping’ teen student

The Tennessee teacher charged with abducting his 15-year-old student skipped town with Cialis pills and went shopping for KY Jelly and chocolate while on the lam for more than a month, according to new court papers.

Tad Cummins, 50, filled a prescription for Cialis at a Columbia, Tenn., pharmacy on March 10 — three days before allegedly blowing town with student Elizabeth Thomas, the federal complaint filed Thursday says.

His wife, Jill, told investigators that he was prescribed the drug, which treats erectile dysfunction and prolongs sexual performance.

Three days later, the pair was spotted at a Walmart in Guymon, Okla., where he used cash to purchase items including “women’s razors, chocolate, cheese cubes and KY Jelly,” court papers say.

While the age difference may bother some people, that is not the basic problem. The are three fundamental mistakes here (setting aside the question of her consent, if she didn’t consent, it’s clearly kidnapping/rape)

1) He’s married.
2) He had a position of authority and influence over her
3) Even if 1) and 2) were not issues, at her age, parental consent is required.

Hopefully, this was a case of misplaced infatuation gone around the bend. It will still require severe punishment, but is not as bad as outright kidnapping/rape.

Screw the NYPost and its dirty little quotes around kidnapping.

Guess what? Men don’t get to run off with dopey little 15 year old Lolitas. It’s still kidnapping and it’s still rape.

Adults do not get use children for sexual gratification and it isn’t really a subject for humor. Really super tired of the wink and nod attitude.

The report of Cialis and the KY is important because it seems she was not entirely an unwilling participant in the adventure. The fact there is a record of these purchases may help prove he had intercourse with her if the girl says otherwise.

There has been an attraction between them for a few months. Secret postings to each other on an imgur account. Caught kissing at school. It looks as though she was in on it but at the same time sensed she was in over her head.

This girl has a terrible home life. 10 kids, dirt poor, mother in prison for abuse. Father seems a little off to me.

The teacher's history shows a straight arrow until very recently as far as anything like this. He reportedly had a HUGE, A MASSIVELY HUGE ego and a need to be in charge.
