he death of the American Dream may be killing many young white Americans. The death rates for young Americans increased substantially from 1999 to 2014, according to a recent report in The Lancet. Much of that increase was driven by the increase in mortality of white women aged 25 to 35. On average, 25-year old white women experienced an increased death rate of 3% per year from 1999 to 2014, according to the report. Twenty-five-year-old men had an increase annual mortality increase of 1.9%.
All other ethnic groups, apart from Native Americans, experienced a decline in mortality rates.

The fates of the less-educated and those who graduate from universities diverge in dire ways. Middle-aged white Americans without four-year degrees are at increasing risk of dying, a well-documented trend driven not only by drug use but also by alcoholism, suicide, and slowing progress against heart disease and cancer. Outcomes may worsen further as millennials—Johnson’s generation—grow older.
“America is not a great place for people with only a high school degree, and I don’t think that’s going to get better anytime soon,” said Angus Deaton, a Nobel Prize-winning Princeton University economist.
It’s too soon to tell whether millennials will die at higher rates in middle age than today’s 45- to 54-year-olds, said Anne Case, a Princeton economist who identified the “deaths of despair” trend with Deaton, her spouse and co-author. But in stories like Johnson’s, there are reasons to worry.
In other words, there’s reason to suspect that this is just the beginning.

Yet another phony reason to push the scam of 'higher' education.
Young Americans of all races need something very desperately in their lives: the love, power, protection, and purpose of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. I’m not talking about attending church or being “religious.” I’m talking about a relationship with God that is supernatural and empowering. I’m talking about the God that can take a broken, beaten, addicted life and transform it into something beautiful and meaningful. Society expects whites to be well-off financially. For those young whites (and all races) from broken homes, in poverty, or in bad fortune, they feel they have no one to turn to, no job prospects, no hope while others degrade them and humiliate them or try to take advantage of them. Drugs and alcohol become a coping mechanism for the shame and pain. What God wants every single one of us to know is that He does not make mistakes. He loves each of us very much and created us just the way He wanted. He gave His only Son to save us. He sent His Holy Spirit to go into our hearts and give us hope. I pray for the hurting people.
Young white people have been taught that they’re horrible, that they have no right to be proud of their evil ancestors, that they must step aside and allow nonwhites to have preferences in college and hiring. They can’t afford to leave their parents’ homes. They have little hope of moving out, marrying, and starting families. It’s only going to get worse as they become minorities in their own countries. This is what the white race gets for being “nice,” for accepting white guilt, etc.

My kids are young white and non college educated.
One has a thriving internet business (danas paper flowers) and the other one is building a soccer coaching business (APsocceracademy) Despair is in the mind, you can create any world you want.
Was just talking to my husband about our youngest daughter. She was shot last year during a robbery of her drug dealing bf. We took her in for healing and security until she went back to daily weed. The absolute lie that smoking pot makes you rich and successful is sending her into depression.
We were trying to figure out how to reach her before she dies by her own hand (she died on the OR table last year). The strong pot has done demonstrable damage to her psyche and her connectedness to family.
Going exactly as planned. You didn’t think this was unintended consequence, did you?
Good post. The biggest loser you’ll ever meet is staring at you in the bathroom mirror every morning. You have the rest of the day to do whatever it takes to make yourself a winner.

It is well presented and documented, it is sobering and it explains the huge difficulties ahead. Do Americans’ and America have the guts to the take necessary steps to MAGA?
They need to “check their privilege “ and pay very high health insurance rates so blacks and Hispanics can get free subsidies.
It’s the sexual revolution that is the real root of the despair.
Whether or not they can articulate it, the signs are too omnipresent for these young people not to know that the elites want them all dead.

My son works and has his own home. My daughter works and is in the process of buying one. My kids, lifting the dark clouds off of America’s white children:-)
