I rarely open anything on Facebook. I look at my friends’ posts and comment on their comments and that’s about it. I’ve never in my life purchased anything from a link in Facebook. Ever. I ignore the ads as well as the stupid teaser articles and the “most people can’t do this” type of crap.
If everyone used Facebook like I do, there would be zero money in it.
I hope that FB is tossed on the pile of ancient history.
We only have so much time in our day and maybe we don’t want to be reached by you.
We don’t use FB and most of our relatives and friends don’t.
So, I don’t understand what is happening re “Reach”!
Could the Facebook IT’s be playing a game here?
I would appreciate a simple 2-3 paragraphs explanation of what is happening.
Again my favorite two Latin words, seem to be appropriate here:
Cui Bono, who benefits!?
FakeBook....land of bots and “fakes”
Funny, my FB account was just temporarily disabled as a “Security precaution”. Happened to some of my FB friends recently. What gives?
Social media = Scourge of the earth.
Well , if they keep the Kahns in and boot away conservatives, makes
sense
that after election they get zero reach. Facebook only works as antisocial media and when people want a break from antisocial, they leave fb
Those in our family relationship have grown bored with it and no longer post. Knowing it’s nothing but a cash cow for advertisers doesn’t help.
10% of my Facebook posts from friends are related to Multi-Level Marketing/their business. Another 20% is politics and another 10% is them stupidly forwarding identity-farming posts.
1. Some sites require registration
2. Some sites expect you to click on 10+ links to read the entire article; i.e., a picture and a caption on every page
3. Most sites have an inordinate number of popups that interfere with reading the article
4. "You won't believe what happened next" click bait that is almost always a let-down
5. I already know everything I need to know from reading it on Free Republic! :-)
