Yep, she was lobbing bottles at innocent people in the street, they were marching peacefully until her bottles were smacking them. So this guy Nathan was a hero, trying to put a stop to this female anarchist. He went after her with a grab and light swing while she was ready to lob another bottle in her hand. Then went after her a second time with the big punch while another bottle dropped to the ground from her backpack.

Yeah, I would normal agree but she did have a weapon in this case - notice the glove on her hand. The guy could have certainly detained or pushed her instead of punching, which would have been more appropriate. However, with a gun, knife, club or brass knuckle.... that rule goes by the wayside until the combatant is disarmed.
