The Democrats, and their mainstream media allies, are so desperate for just one electoral win to prove that President Donald Trump is on a downslide that they have even hailed no change in special elections since the November general election as some sort of moral victory. Below the surface, however, they know they need a victory in a special election. It wasn't delivered to them last week in Kansas in the special congressional election to fill the seat of Mike Pompeo who was appointed to head the CIA so now their hopes have been placed on the April 18 special election in the Georgia Sixth Congressional District to fill the seat vacated by Tom Price who was appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Last night MSNBC played a Jon Ossoff campaign ad citing North Korea as being dangerous and that he (as a single House member) would stand up to Trump on it, to keep us out of war.
Wondering how many will be sympathetic to this lame argument.
Of course everyone remembers JFK, or Jack Kennedy as he was affectionately known.
Now we have Jon, or Jack Ossoff.
He will get the dem vote. This district has changed over the years. Ossoff won’t win out right. Republicans better get it together if they want to retain this seat

Ever since we moved to GreenAcres with the AJC as our local fishwrap (not paid for...only free access...and that’s still over-paying...!) every election is over-hyped with the dem candidate that will send the republican packing in a reliably red district. Like clockwork and by formula.
Months ahead of the election, showing polls daily about how far ahead the dem is. Then election day results and crickets. EXACT same issue here. Hyping pajama-boi with polls showing double digit leads...barely a mention of the dozen or more republican candidates, nor the need to win 50%+1.
This will go to a runoff and pajama-boi will be sent packing back to Hank Johnson for remedial work. The AJC will march on as usual.
What they don’t seem to realize is that all this does is ENERGIZE the people who support Trump.
Let ‘em keep going.
Look, these folks are the same ones who dismissed Trump’s massive rally crowds. The people who attended those rallies are NOT going to be swayed by the liars of the media. Instead, they will be MOTIVATED to prove them wrong. Again.

Didn't Jimmy Carter sabotage (with some freelance diplomacy) Bill Clinton's effort to get tough with North Korea? (Not that Clinton would have followed through.)
So maybe Ossoff thinks his potential constituents like the idea of appeasing North Korea.
