Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, said on Saturday night that the White House is now dominated by right-wing pro-Israelis. It should be noted that she intended this to be a negative comment on the new administration
Ynet, a Hebrew language Israeli news service, reported that Ashrawi bemoaned the right-wing, pro-Israel stance of President Trump’s administration.
“We used to say there were settlers in the Israeli coalition borne of the far right that detests Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims. But today we say there are settlers inside the White House,” she said. “The administration has adopted the extreme Israeli position to the right of [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu which supports the settlements.”
Ashrawi is a non-practicing Anglican Christian. Her statements come just prior to the yet-to-be-scheduled first meeting between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and President Trump.
Though decidedly more pro-Israel than his predecessor, President Trump has not given the green-light to Jewish building in Judea and Samaria. In February, President Trump requested from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he “hold off on settlements for a bit”. Prime Minister Netanyahu complied, telling his security cabinet, “This is a very friendly administration and we need to be considerate of the president’s requests.”

I have to fight my own inclinations to think of the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims like I do.
It's in my core to appreciate all people. I've observed some people in my own nation that are problematic. I have observed the three groups this woman lists. I had to come to the sad reality that I cannot accept the way some folks behave. I cannot accept the group think embedded in these groups. In my country, I realize that now all people in groups act out the way certain sub-sets do. The the three groups above, it's just about universal, how they view Jews, Israel, and the United States. It's a fact of life. I can't change it. I can only be wary of it. I am. You don't want me to be, stop the hate!

I only detest those Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims who support terrorism. Questions for the liberal left:
(1) Are those appropriate criteria?
(2) What percentage of those groups should I detest based on my criteria - what fraction in those groups support terrorism?

I've ancestors who were settlers. I've no doubt there are those in the White House with ancestors who were settlers. When did that become a derogatory term?
