They have money to fix the roads but they blow it on other ‘programs’. Exactly -and you can bet that they will waste a lot of the money raised 'specifically for roads - this time - "really, we pinky swear" too.

They have money to fix the roads but they blow it on other ‘programs’.The Independence Institute is preparing a competing initiative, which 1) takes the money from the "other programs" upon which it is currently being blown and 2) prohibits putting the money into slush funds, mass transit boondoggles, mixed-mode facilities, etc. It's called the Fix Our Damn Roads ballot measure.
