I am sorry about your neighbor.
I read about intravenous vitamin C in YUGE doses drastically beating back cancer.
I thought it sounded crazy but upon further research some quite reputable resources confirmed that at least to some extent, and sometimes more than just some, huge doses of IV vitamin C can really help.
I am glad you are sharing this in your time of grief.
It reminded me of what C can do and will let others know.
Thanks for replying. I was thinking about him being a former SEAL (Nam) and realized the VA should be doing this pronto. He never went to the gov for any of his benefits.
I’ve heard that about cancer and C. I wonder hard hard it would be to find a doctor that would even give you the shots upon request. My dad died from sepsis eleven years ago.

I’ve also heard about high doses of D3 being administered along with standard chemo. It helps the chemo knock the cancer out much better.
I used to take 1,000 mg C with biflavorniods daily until it shot my Blood Sugar up. I can tell you it helps the immune system.
And yes your body will absorb that much. Just takes longer.
Since I now have to do morning BS readings I’ve had to stop it, and I notice the difference in how my body reacts immune wise. Doesn’t matter if I take the C after my morning BS reading, I will read high the next day. Then I’ve the ENDO wanting to put me on one of those horrid Diabetes meds. When in truth it’s just an Vit C over load.
There was this study of goats and how much Vit C they actually make.
They set the goats (I guess it was all males, around 120-150 lbs) up on this screen that they could give them electric shocks. Sounds cruel, I guess it is a bit cruel.
The goats Vitamin C production ROCKETED.
Up from about 6 gms/day to 100,000 gms/day!
Humans are one of the very few species on Earth that cannot make their own Vitamin C.
