I’d like to see CCW holders be able to receive firearms shipments direct from the seller rather than go through an FFL ($30 please. Thank you come again.) At this point, I’ll go for signing that damned 4473 and sending it in with my payment. Once that’s in place, THEN we can talk about that 4473.

The Curio & Relic license holders already have something like this in place, so just expand the coverage to the CCWs(less the “keep records” part). I’d also like to see CCWs able to buy a handgun in any state. They’ve been fingerprinted, taken mug shots, passed a state and fed background check so what’s the problem in doing so?

Isn’t there any Senator or Congressman willing to propose this law? Mine (AZ) just send me “Thank you for contacting me” boilerplate answers. Put their feet to the fire, fellas.

Most lawmakers know nothing about firearms, FFL, C&R, 4473, ammunition nomenclature or anything else for that matter.

Hmmm. Seem to remember being able to order WW II surplus weapons(rifles) delivered directly to your house out of Popular Mechanics and other “manly” magazines prior to bobby kennedy being shot. Anyone got any of those old ads?

Wyoming has something sort of related in the works. Any state that fails to accept Wyoming's Handgun Carry license- not needed in the Cowboy State since Summer 2013, carry open or concealed as you like- will find their driver's licences and license plates are similarly not recognized by Wyoming. Drive through Wyoming on your way to Yellowstone National Park with plates from an Outlaw state, and see your car crushed on the spot.
