Meet Dr. Jumana Nagarwala of Livonia, Michigan who was arrested on Wednesday and charged by the DOJ of performing female genital mutilation on girls “who were approximately 6 to 8 years old.”
From the Detroit News:
Seven days later, an FBI child forensic interviewer talked to one of the girls, who said she was brought to Detroit with a second girl for a “special girls’ trip,” according to the FBI.
After arriving in Farmington Hills, the girls were taken to a doctor because “their tummies hurt.”
“While at the doctor’s office, a procedure ‘to get the germs out,’” was performed on the first girl, according to the criminal complaint. The girl was shown a photo of Nagarwala and said she was the doctor who performed the procedure, according to the FBI.
The girl told the FBI that Nagarwala “pinched” her on the “place (where) she goes pee,’” the government alleges.
“(The girl) said that she was told not to talk about the procedure,” FBI Special Agent Kevin Swanson wrote in the complaint.
A subsequent medical examination showed that the girl’s genitals did not appear normal and a section had been altered or removed, according to the court filing.
Why not arrest the parents?

The DOJ announced that, “[t]his is believed to be the first case brought under 18 U.S.C. 116, which criminalizes FGM.”

Heartwood is right. This was a nick in the clitoral hood -— not the gory mutilation that African Muslim women commit against their daughters, often with rusty old razors. It still should not be tolerated in the West....

I'm still waiting for him to give us further information as to where this country is located..........
But then again, there's a slight chance that he's being an asshole and just made the country up...........If that's the case, the least he could have done was add a /sarc tag after his comments so as not to create this unnecessary argument...........

I agree if child believes it wants to change gender, it should be against the law to do so until adulthood. I believe that most of these poor kids are being taught that transgender is cool and it will gain them attention.
Transgender surgery should not be done to anyone. It is a gross violation of medical ethics to intentionally sexually mutilate a patient, even if the patient has requested this, and is willing to pay. It’s especially unethical to do this to a minor or someone who is mentally ill (which would cover I think, all cases).

Thanks; I just never heard of Jewish or Christian “female genital mutilation” before, and while it may exist, I wouldn’t take the media’s word for it. If they could trot out some victims to discredit the Church, we’d see them on the news every night.
Coptic Christians in Egypt? Christians in Ethiopia? Yes, some do practice FGM.
Maybe Jews in Ethiopia? Okay, we could argue if they’re real Jews, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Read the 11 page FBI report. One of the victims testified she screamed in pain and was left barely able to walk.

Totally horrified at this butin our country we are now dosing our little ines with hormones etc to reassign their gender so I am disgusted with America as well and not feeling the moral superiority I used to

Talk to a GYN. He or she will explain to you what female genital MUTILATION involves.
You should see what people do to themselves.
I guess my point is that at the age of majority you can give informed consent.
