Why is no one interviewing the Captain of this flight?

Let’s hear what he/she has to say about all this.

As someone else wrote earlier today. This is too little, too late. Time for CEO to resign, for aircrew to be fired, for police officer to be fired and charged with assault, and for Trump and Congress to lift limits on compensation, now capped at $1,350. Let the market set the rate.

The Doctor acted like a spoiled child having a tantrum. Like a two-year old.

Given his criminal history, he should have been deported a decade ago at least.

I think all watchers of the video should be compensated. I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat screaming; Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue is playing over and over again in my head and I feel like I’m getting hit and dragged with every measure. It’s horrible.

I hope many others have said this:

United did a messed up thing. And the country is up in arms about it. But for my money, what the TSA did to everyone on that flight is worse, and we just dociley accept it because we worship authority.

If that had been a regular cop dragging him off, and he’d killed him, most people would defend the heroic cop.

We live in the USSA.

Would have been much cheaper to rent your deadheads a car to drive the 5 hours to Louisville ... hell you could have bought each of them a Mercedes for what your going to lose and saved the bad but well deserved PR

Airline Pilot wife posted today - ‘The guy ran back on after removed, at which point he violated Federal Law and Federal Security guys were called in. United had nothing to do with it at that point.” Great article on FB about this which clarified quite a bit for me.

I’m sick to death of being ‘whupped up’ by baying mobs. That’s just me.

I’ve seen no details on the employees. Were they or were they not flight crew? And the plane was delayed for two hours from what I read, but I haven’t seen the details of why.

... in exchange for their continued silence on the issue.

I’d like to see that contract.

They might as well throw money around for all the good it will do now. The damage to United’s reputation will last a generation and cost untold millions of dollars. United only wanted to fly four crew members to another location for a flight the following morning. There were any number of different ways that could have been done; the crew could even have flow in from some different city. Instead, this is this the result United got by treating their paying customers like dirt — or baby seals. Is this the result United wanted? That’s the answer to who is at fault here.

I think they should compensate EVERYONE who was troubled by this story, on either side of the argument.

Five grand apiece would suit me fine.

p.s. My cats are greatly unsettled by the screams as well.

The media has turned this into a 'false flag', happening because of Trump's presidency. Quite a stretch but this is the psychology in play here.

Deport that Chinese SOB back to China. I'm sick and tired of the whiny broads on that flight. They made things WORSE, as usual.

United Airlines is giving a major signal that they are in deep doo-doo from an upcoming lawsuit by Dao.

Why else would they reimburse all the passengers?

Sounds like United wants to buy favorable testimony if the case actually makes it to trial.

In today’s electronic world all sorts of verbal and written communications by United Airlines staff will be available to Dao’s lawyers.

Before being paid, the planes passengers will no doubt be required to sign some kind of “release” which will include language preventing them from testifying in the upcoming lawsuit when it comes.

These airlines are all snakes in the grass.

On the radio show John and Ken on KFI640am they had people calling in with their stories of bad airline treatment.
