I have no idea what you’re referring to. I see no connection to Jim’s post and my comments. Why sould anything I say be different because of his post?
The next generation has to hold fast and learn how to read the signs of the times and the trends.
Take a day or 2 or even a week and think things over before rushing to judgement.
Additionally we will never have perfect leader. They will always make some errors or have to make corrections.

For some, and a growing sum of those some, it’s no one over anything anymore. I’m not in that camp. I am a Trumpist and not at all fussed by anything he’s done so far. But for many, it’s too late. Trust in anyone associated with either the gov or any of its institutions or any of the media outfits is gone and wont be coming back.

Knowing Trump, it never dawned on you that he would say and have his people say things like that to drive the point home to Assad?
As early as Saturday I was saying that I wasn’t sure that was an operational plan. He didn’t say, “By a certain day and time we’ll have 35,000 troops in Syria.”, or some such like that.
It seemed like bluster to me. It didn’t to you?
If you want regime change and you’re attacking an airport, what do you do? Do you leave 80% of a nation’s aircraft in tact there, and a runway with no holes in it?
When I heard that, I knew he still wanted Assad to be able to wage conventional war.
If there is another chemical weapons release, we will have to cross that bridge when we come to it. I don’t know what the plan would be. It would depend on a number of factors.
I didn’t think a tag was necessary given the context of our previous exchanges. Or my last few days of hammering Trump’s critics ... which you may not have seen.

If you ‘polled’ me I would say I support President Trump.
But if you asked me if I support any military action in Syria using cruise missiles or aircraft to support the ‘rebels’ I would say NO.
I hope the POTUS does not resort to that option like Obama did in Libya.
