Nigel Farage and other right-wing populists turn on Donald Trump after missile strikes

Many former Donald Trump supporters have turned on the President after his decision to retaliate against the Assad regime for its chemical weapons attack.

Nigel Farage, Milo Yiannopoulos Katie Hopkins, right-wing vlogger Paul Joseph Watson, Ukip leader Paul Nuttall and Ukip donor Arron Banks are among the Trump supporters who have been disappointed by their hero.

Mr Farage said: "I am very surprised by this. I think a lot of Trump voters will be waking up this morning and scratching their heads and saying 'where will it all end?'

Warn everyone involved...make the play..sends a message to NutJob who is launching missiles in North Korea.

I think Trump got played by Turkey and our intelligence agencies. There is zero reason for Assad to execute a chemical attack on a small village. It makes no sense. All my Spidey senses say it was the rebels.

I am also sick to death of Ivanka Trump and her husband whispering in Trump’s ear 24/7. Calling them moderates is an understatement.

This alone wouldn’t warrant an abandon ship.

But the Trump of the past 30 days is making it less and less easy to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I’m not giving up but to sit here but I don’t buy this “3D chess” crap either.

“As opposed to the other side, who aren’t killing anyone, right? “

Assad should have killed all the rebels by now.

The fact that there are still rebel cities operating with impunity leads me to think that Assad is not the ruthless strongman that I hoped he was.

I don’t think that strike had a thing to do with Syria and regime change. It was a shot across the bow at Russia. It was a way of telling them that unlike Obama we would no longer be talking about red lines.

The Syria policy of Trump is simple, cooperate with Russia to battle ISIS. That means tolerating the Assad regime. In return we expect Russia to keep Assad under control and not make us look foolish for tolerating him.

Not sure I trust the intel but what Trump saw convinced him Russia had flouted that deal. And why wouldn’t they? For the past eight years they had nadda to fear. Now suddenly the rules have changed.

Trump to Putin: keep up your end of the damn deal!

Having said the above, if this turns into a new adventure, then I will be disappointed in Mr. Trump.

I am not at all disappointed in President Trump, in fact, I support him more and more everyday, and being that I have 100% support for him, I now have 150% support...

You don’t go around and release Sarin Gas on your people, and this isn’t the first time Assad has done it, on Dec. 3, 2012 Obama drew a red line in the sand with Assad for the same thing, but Obama never went through with it...President Trump did...

President Trump also has 5 Generals that know what is going on in the world, one of the smartest Sec. of State this country has ever had in Tillerman, and a fantastic Vice President...so for the ‘pearl grabbers and couch fainters’ get on the Trump Train or get ran over...

President Trump has said repeatedly he would NOT say what he was going to do in any situation, but he would tell you after and he hasn’t let us done yet...

If someone comes in your home and kills your youngest child, do you let that person come back in and kill your next to the youngest? No you don’t and neither does anyone else...

Go.Trump.Go!!!

I’m not happy about these latest developments but I must say as upset as I am about it; it was handled relatively well so far. It was limited, it was expressly said that it was limited and it was very decisive and a major contrast with the last administration. It also is a sign to others that Trump is serious, the added bonus of maybe shutting people up about Russia for awhile. It COULD turn out well when it’s all said and done. If the military adventurism continues then this will be as bad if not worst than Obama AND Bush. I am reserving judgement. I remain very skeptical that this was the Assad regime (it seems way too convenient for the other side)

“...Don’t worry. Assad’s grip on power is secure and he’ll be killing again in no time..”
*********************************************************

I guess you’re bitterly disappointed that the Syrian Islamists have not yet prevailed and delivered their version of paradise on Earth to Syria. Don’t worry, they may yet deliver that for you.

what if he was 100% right in the decision he made? Thus far minusbRyancare he has been proven right time and again. None of the harping spineless Congress critters obtain the information he has to have made this quick decision.

Unless proven otherwise I’ll stick with him that his decision was sound. Everything else concerning false flag is pure speculation. As of now only Trump and his team know for certainty what took place.

“should I care about Syrians killing Syrians or how they choose to do it?”

If you let terrorists start using chemical weapons with impunity it's only a matter of time before they are used against US troops in the region or are smuggled and used in a big city.

Since we don’t have the real intel we really don’t know.

I can’t speak to whether it was a good decision.

But it appears people were warned.

that makes it Kabuki theater.

Someone brought up an old Trump post from 2014 about signaling ahead of time and how it shouldn’t be done. Perhaps he has changed his mind.

The Russians can shoot back.
We should be in Iraq stabilizing that country as it was becoming before obama showed up. Let the Russians kill the terrorists in Syria.
