President Donald Trump is reportedly considering engaging in military action in Syria in response to Tuesdays chemical attack.
Trump reportedly told some members of Congress that military action is a real possibility, according to CNNs Dana Bash. Trump did not detail any potential military in his statements Wednesday.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is suspected of engaging in a chemical attack against his own people, leaving approximately 72 dead and potentially hundreds more injured. The strike targeted Khan Shaykhun, a rebel-controlled town in Syrias northwestern Idlib province.
Trump responded to the attack Tuesday, telling reporters it crossed a lot of lines for me and that it went beyond a red line.
Yesterdays chemical attack, a chemical attack so horrific in Syria against innocent people, including women, small children and even beautiful little babies, their deaths were an affront to humanity, said Trump, while speaking in the White House Rose Garden along with Jordand King Abdullah.
These heinous actions by the Assad regime cannot be tolerated, Trump added. The United States stands with our allies across the globe to condemn this horrific attack and all other horrific attacks, for that matter.
The statements appeared to represent a change in Trumps policy, given the president considered Assad a potential natural ally in the fight against terrorism in November. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the administrations priority is no longer to sit there and focus on getting Assad out, while visiting Turkey on March 30, less than a week before the chemical attack.
U.S. military operation in Iraq are currently limited to a group of approximately 500 special forces operators and an air campaign targeting the Islamic State. The U.S. is not currently engaged in combat operations against the Assad regime.
Trump did not outline any specific changes in his statements Wednesday.

Can’t wait to hear the fake news response to this.
Assad is protecting Christians. The rebels have committed atrocities against Christians. We should be supporting him, and not bombing him.
US, Russia debate limits of US strike against Assad http://www.debka.com/article/25997/US-Russia-debate-limit-of-US-strike-against-Assad
are the Globalists getting to him?
Must give an 11 month warning like we had to with Iraq.
“Military attack” against whom? Who is responsible for the gas attack? Do we know for sure?
He’d better make damned sure that the Syrian Army was responsible before he does anything; this wouldn’t be the first time that followers of the False Prophet sacrificed their own for political gain.
Yeah, I know, Trump can’t make a mistake, etc....
CNN says US Intel was confirming that Assad did make the chemical strike

Maybe Trumps response should be arresting Clinton, Soros, Juan McStain, and other members of the Regime Change Investment Club - who supplied those weapons to ISIS when they were pulling that Arab Spring thing out of their arse?
Got Benghazi?
I trust Trump. Period.
I wonder which Intel that was?
The same Intel that had Pentagon-armed rebels fighting CIA-armed rebels?
I don’t think Assad did it.
President Trump has got to get away from the globalists who are exerting much too much control over his information and thought process. The Donald Trump we voted for would’ve been extremely skeptical of the “Assed did it” illogical story line.
>> Who is responsible for the gas attack? Do we know for sure?
How’bout Clinton, Juan McCain, and the other crISIS manufacturing super-geniuses at Regime-Change-R-US?

Got Benghazi?
Always can make up excuses.
So what, those who died are Islamic fundamentalist terrorists or their supporters. Those dead children being paraded....they were going to be the next generation of beheaders.
