Some Ds have been saying the Russia investigation and the surveillance/unmasking investigation are unrelated - they should focus on Russia and worry about Rice & friends later.
Does this give him more time to spend on the Rice investigation now? I’m sure the R’s answer is NO but I’d love to see him say that’s what he’s doing just to watch the Ds freak out.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory = the only thing the GOP is good at.
And what prevents charges being brought against Gowdy if he gets out of line? The Left has neutralized Sessions and now Nunes. Their strategy works. It is the seriousness of the charge not the facts. The GOP simply invites more abuse or they really want this to all just go away so they can settle back into the swamp quietly.
