Rand Paul Wants Susan Rice Before Congress (Here it comes)
Breitbart ^ | Ian Mason

Posted on 04/03/2017 5:33:23 PM PDT by RoosterRedux

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told reporters Monday afternoon that former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice “ought to testify under oath” after Bloomberg News’s Eli Lake revealed that, during the presidential transition, she deliberately sought to “unmask” President Donald Trump’s associates from intelligence surveillance.

Paul called the reports that Rice made dozens of requests to learn more about the identities of anonymous people thought to be close to the Trump transition team, inadvertently caught on tape during investigations into foreign persons of intelligence interest, “enormous news.”

“If it is allowed, we shouldn’t be allowing it. I don’t think we should discount how big a deal it is that Susan rice was looking at these,” Paul told the assembled reporters.

The Kentucky Senator then cut to the heart of the growing political fight behind what President Trump has called “wiretapping.”

“She needs to be asked, ‘did President Obama ask her to do this?’ I think she ought to testify under oath on this,” Paul opined.

Paul also tried to tie Monday’s revelations about Rice to the slew of leaks on the topic around the time of the handover of the White House. “I think she should be asked under oath, did she reveal it to the Washington Post?” he asked.

I wonder if Rand and the rest are ready to chuck her in jail if she lies, because she is certainly going to lie.

These bums need to get downright nasty on this.

I'm going to tell every liberal I see the following:

Democrats set an important precedent, which is now law. It's now perfectly legal for a president to spy on political opponents. Think about it... this means Trump can now LEGALLY use this new power bequeathed to him by Obama.

If you Dems don't like the sound of that, then contact your reps and demand that those in the Obama admin who did this pay the price. Otherwise, suck it up and get ready for us to use this new power.

Nah. NOTHING will happen. Repeat: NOTHING will happen.

I've heard things like that before complete with CAPS and the "Repeat" bit. >>Trump will never be nominated, Trump will never be elected etc. They will never ID anyone involved in Trump wiretap allegations. It's deep state so nothing is going to happen.<< On and on and on.☺

Wrong wrong wrong. It seems to be some folks specialty.

The GOP will be content with a few ‘winning’ headlines at the expense of justice.

This is what it looks like when a congressman isn’t running scared. Now let’s see how many join him in calling for this.

She's no doubt been under the gun for weeks, with her lawyers likely telling her to hide somewhere she's not connected to and don't answer speak to anyone.

Pure speculation...It's been long enough now where Rice's attorney after seeing some evidence and or realizing what she has facing her, could possibly be negotiating with federal investigators for the past few weeks for all we know. First to squeal gets the deal or reduced sentence for cooperating.

It would not be the first time an attorney took his client into speak voluntarily with authorities in cases where they have nothing else to lose.

Rand Paul is turning out to be the most stalwart, freedom-loving and Constitution-respecting Republican there is.
