Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told reporters Monday afternoon that former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice “ought to testify under oath” after Bloomberg News’s Eli Lake revealed that, during the presidential transition, she deliberately sought to “unmask” President Donald Trump’s associates from intelligence surveillance.
Paul called the reports that Rice made dozens of requests to learn more about the identities of anonymous people thought to be close to the Trump transition team, inadvertently caught on tape during investigations into foreign persons of intelligence interest, “enormous news.”
“If it is allowed, we shouldn’t be allowing it. I don’t think we should discount how big a deal it is that Susan rice was looking at these,” Paul told the assembled reporters.
The Kentucky Senator then cut to the heart of the growing political fight behind what President Trump has called “wiretapping.”
“She needs to be asked, ‘did President Obama ask her to do this?’ I think she ought to testify under oath on this,” Paul opined.
Paul also tried to tie Monday’s revelations about Rice to the slew of leaks on the topic around the time of the handover of the White House. “I think she should be asked under oath, did she reveal it to the Washington Post?” he asked.

Here is the thing. The Obama administration went after Trump. They did everything in their power to bring Trump down and failed miserably. Trump now has a free shot and this is what is scaring the heck out of the left.
Question is, what will Trump do, who will he go after and will the outcome affect the country’s security?

Since they were unmasking Trump at a time they didn’t think he could win, doesn’t it make sense that they would have gone after ALL OF THE CANDIDATES?

Unlike under Obama she can be prosecuted now for ignoring a subpoena or lying under oath, if she pleads the fifth then we can call her guilty/hiding something.

No. Trump is the outsider, the rest of the candidates are "team players." All of them were designated losers, to boot. The last election was supposed to be Jeb v. Hillary, until Trump screwed things up.

ALL of the above are suspect and should be questioned. How often was 7 masking done. How many people have been unmasked? A number value wouldn’t be classified. Get them o n the stand imeidately..
Congress is nothing but a bloviating dog and pony show. I have no faith in either their ability or intent to do the right thing. They could have done that by now.
How many opportunities to indict these criminals have we seen muffed by congress since 2013? Lois Lerner comes to mind. As does Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin... the list goes on and on.
When I see these people perp-walked into a federal prison, I'll change my tune. But at this moment, congress as a body is nothing but talk. Never mind the deceitful attempt to force unwanted legislation (i.e. Ryancare) down our throats and refusing to do what the American people call for them to do- REPEAL OBAMACARE.
Congress is the same old swarm of lying, self-interested sewer rats they have always been. So far, they have failed to prove otherwise.
