The Supreme Court on Monday denied the Trump administration's request to place a hold on litigation over former President Barack Obama's Waters of the U.S. rule so it can begin repealing it.

The high court denied the administration's request without explanation.

The Justice Department wanted the high court to hold off on hearing a case, National Association of Manufacturers v. Department of Defense et al, on the Environmental Protection Agency's water rule until it had time to review the regulation on its own, "paving the way for the elimination of this very destructive and horrible rule," President Trump said.

Indeed, these rulings are political virtual impeachments of the president in tying his hands. It is called the law of the judges , one which attacks the immunity of the President.

Time
for a convention of states, the system is completely FUBaR

Asking the court not to rule on an existing rule because it may get repealed is like asking the court to rule on a law because it may get enacted.

Fu*k these out of control Judges! They think they rule this country!

And why shouldn't they think that? It sure looks like they do.

Misleading headline.Administration asked to delay a matter they’re not a party to, that’s what happened. Not a big deal.

So we can no longer repeal laws and regulations?

Is that what’s going on here?

Yes, this article is misleading and confusing.

The administration wants to put a hold on the case until it can review Obama’s regulation. The Court rejected the delay.

I would assume that SCOTUS and it shouldn’t of been the full court to review this, wants to establish a ruling on the question even if the law is repealed.

Let SCOTUS waste their time if they want to uphold Obama’s BS regulation. Trump’s EPA erases it later.

An EO isn’t Law. Outside of the working of the Exec. it is null/void.

But, it seems, we still like to play semantics. As others have said, the swamp doesn’t want to be drained and DJ is trying (it *seems*) to play D.C. Calvin Ball

Exactly. We are ruled by 9 clowns in black robes. This is NOT the free republic our founders created.

I wonder when and how this usurpation is going to end.

I was thinking about this this morning when I heard about the Texas usurpation - a federal judge-clown "ruled" that the government can't drop a voter ID case that it wasn't going to defend after the change of administrations.

Can I get a WTF????!?

The judge-whore, appointed by Wiretapping Criminal 0bama, is 52 years old - in the golden age of medical care that we're living in, she'll be alive 40-50 more years, sabotaging the government from her little fiefdom in Texas.

Pretty sure that the Founders didn't envision a swarm of political locust "judges" tearing up the political landscape for half a century on our dime.
