A judge needs to come out and force it back in. This cruise company is racist.

9th circuit working on it as we speak

The missus and I went into town Cancun so I could take a walk on the wild side and buy a Cuban cigar.
Not sure why but the little senorita who waited on me was openly hostile—a real puta.
Back in all-inclusive world the natives were very nice but like the workers at Bush Gardens who wave at you as you go by on the trams, like WestWorld robots. Once was enough.

I’ve been to Acapulco twice. I liked it a lot. If you read to the end, you find out that other cruise lines will continue to stop there. I think there is more to the story somehow.

Went through a similar routine in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on a cruise ship holiday in the '90s. All kinds of shipboard warnings (Then why in L stop there?).

There was a tabacco shop at the end of the long pier, so wife and I went that far. When we entered the shop, we were glared at and sullenly sold a few boxes of cigars. After paying the bucks, we did a 180 and headed back to the ship.

People who went on a tour to the falls there told of the guides "helping" people up by grabbing their hands - and trying to lift their rings or wrist watches. Another guy told of how the locals tried to separate their 13-year-old daughter from them in a crowded area. The finale was when a cab dropped off a guy who was so badly beaten his face was a purple mess. He had taken a cab "tour", taken to an isolated area and robbed.

Carnival Corp owns 10 cruise lines, including Holland America, Celebrity, Carnival, Costa, Cunard, and Princess. Only Holland America is boycotting Acapulco. I doubt it is Trump asking the Carnival Corp CEO to do anything. Otherwise, why only one of the numerous lines, and only one port?

A friend from work is on a cruise this week to Cozumel. I know several folks at work who go on cruises all the time. I have no desire to go to beach resorts with thousands of other folks, for the same reason we never went to Disneyworld. I also have an inordinate fear of rogue waves. Hubby thinks being on a cruise would be like being in prison, except in prison, you don't have to worry about drowning. ;o)

Our exception to cruises would be a European River Cruise, which IS on our Bucket List.

that will get their attention....

you hear two different stories about Mexico...one, that it has a very violent drug culture and two, that there are some very nice peaceful areas....

and then the two of us took the tour over there on a shuttle during the Sun Bowl weekend probably 15 yrs ago.....we decided we wanted to go to the grocery store so we just got off the shuttle like idiots...we wanted to save a few bucks on tequila....

If I want to hang out with Mexicans, I prefer Viecqes.

Those are my kind of Mexicans: Wholly on the dole and not rising from bed until it is time for siesta.
