This is not a matter of religion for the American electorate. Sharia law is completely incompatible with our Constitution and the statute law that has been built on its foundation. That is the point.
It is interesting to note that progressives seem quite determined to keep church and state separate when the church in question is the Christian church, but now are more than willing to accommodate a religion that explicitly unifies church and state (which is the whole point about Sharia law). Why is it bad and wrong in the first case and good and right in the second? Do progressives truly hate our nation so much that they are willing to destroy it without any thought to what will follow? That is nothing less than nihilism.
Sharia law has rules detailing the proper method for a husband to beat his wife as well as the admonition that wives must be beaten regularly.

Sharia courts have hundreds of years of precedence stating that females unattended/escorted by male family members are not a victim when they get raped. And, if the female resists the male(s) when being raped, she’s hanged for not submitting to the male(s) as is proper under Sharia law, and if she does submit, she’s stoned to death for being a slut.

This is the United States. How can it be legal? It has the effect of no law at all- if any citizen can invoke the laws of any country -it’s anarchy, pure and simple.
