Finally President Trump Calls Out #NeverTrump Members of Congress…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Mar 30, 2017 | Sundance

Posted on 03/31/2017 7:13:18 AM PDT by xzins

After removing Katie Walsh from the White House staff, President Trump now moves to confront the #NeverTrump coalition in congress, Hillary’s Favorite Caucus, head on.

More than half of the remaining members of the House Freedom Caucus are still #NeverTrump, entrenched and intransigent Pro-Ted Cruz ideologues. They oppose Trump and have never moved beyond losing in the primary. They are still fighting the 2016 primary race they lost.

It appears President Trump has had enough of their ideological gridlock.

I vociferously applaud the few patriots left in Congress.

As did the Democrats and never Trump globalists. With friends like these...

>Because they didn’t vote to march veterans to the VA gulag.. yes by all means, get rid of those terrible human beings. Then Amnesty and stimulus will be unopposed. Trump IS the swamp leader.

Should you be out trying to get your girl Hillary running in 2020? Begon #nevertrumper.

And that would make him a liar.

I voted for and support Trump but this irrational fanatic idolatry regardless of any position by him is downright creepy.

RE:”Trump promised to repeal ACA, Ryan did not deliver. Rather than deliver a bill to repeal ACA Ryan promised another bill in a year or two. And he said “take it or leave it”.

Failed attempt to deflect.

President-elect Donald Trump revealed in an interview with The Washington Post that he’s almost finished with a plan to replace ObamaCare and vowed to have “insurance for everybody.”
Trump insists that the new law will be better despite worries from Congress and the possibility of putting 20 million Americans at risk of losing their health coverage.
We’re going to have insurance for everybody. There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”
Trump insists health care replacement will have 'insurance for everybody' (January 16, 2017 FoxNews.com)

Doesn't sound like repeal.

Just like McConnell and Ryan, it looks like Trump has a bigger issue with conservatives than he does Democrats. Who would have guessed?

You’re losing sight of the big picture. Keep attacking POTUS and you’ll get nothing conservative. The beltway GOP will seize the agenda and we will be SOL. Then a Democrat POTUS in 4 years. Understand?

Rep. Ken Buck of CO is not one of the bad FC members, search will bring up his excellent op-ed that I posted yesterday in which he explains why supporting AHCA is a good conservative approach.

The nevertrumper members of FC won’t be in Congress long if they don’t wake up and get behind the President and their party.

“How do you like the sound of “Speaker Nancy Pelosi” then?”

Repeal Obamacare like we were promised.

Anyone who thinks Trump has EVER been a conservative on health care has not been listening.

He is conservative on the wall, on immigration, on jobs, on taxes, on defense, on school vouchers, etc.

But NEVER on health care. Not ever.

This should not be surprising.

So, the #nevertrumpers were right about healthcare, but not about most everything else.

Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed by the Senate last week.

Do you think that Jeb or Ted could have beaten Hillary?

I don’t.

They NEVER would have won MI, PA, WI, OH. Never.

RE:”Trump has been a moderate to liberal on healthcare from the beginning of his campaign.
He always promised Repeal/Replace..”

But he also always promised to keep the pre-existing conditions mandate, which showed he was never serious about repealing it.

He promised that because of polls.

We have 2 choices: Oppose president Trump because we don’t get everything we want and watch the GOP go down in defeat in 2018 because we failed to deliver Obamacare relief.

Suck it up like big boys and cut a deal, got some of what we want and work to get more conservatives elected in 2018 and then get Obamacare fully repealed.

We need party unity and we need to support our president or we will be destroyed. Principles won’t help you if we toss congress back to the Dems. So for once lets show a little unity and get stuff done.

Freedom Caucus was so conservative they were fine with Hillary for President and they never called to stopped Obama. I remember when Gohmert said he would only vote for Trump if he would apologize to Ted Cruz for Trump accusing Cruz of being dishonest in the campaign. Yet, Gohmert said nothing about Cruz’s constant distortions and lies about Trump. Who did Gohmert think he was telling someone he has to apologize for telling the truth about another individual? Now Trump is telling the truth about the Freedom Caucus and guys like Mark Levin doesn’t like it. “Trump is channeling Nixon.” Too bad. Freedom Caucus is bought and paif for by the Club for Mexico who tried to extort Trump for $1 million.

You couldn’t be more wrong. The only “idolatry” here is those worshiping to a nonexistent fairy tale conservatism.

Simple pragmatism is at work here among those supporting the Trumpa agenda. Get as much as we can from POTUS because the alternative is we will get nothing from the GOPe. Then a Democrat in 4 years.

But go ahead and keep on campaigning for globalists and Democrats if you wish. They thank you for your support.

How is that important info?

Can you tell me exactly what it means to currently be #nevertrump? Are there dues that one pays to belong to this club? Does it mean that if someone is #nevertrump they are actively working to impeach President Trump? Does it just mean they aren’t going to follow him blindly in every single policy that he advocates?

What in the hell does it mean in March of 2017?

Are you claiming that 50% of the Freedom caucus members would answer “Yes” if they were asked tomorrow, “Are you #nevertrump?” ????

You are talking out your ass and using buzzwords and media-speak just like a liberal.

Pre-existing condition coverage is literally the most popular aspect of obamacare. You can count on your hands the number of people in Congress who would vote to repeal it. Can’t pin that one on Trump.
